One day he told me: I will get a loan to buy BTC.
I told him that he is crazy.

There is a thing which is called risk taker. If you take risk then definitely you will earn some profit if you are not taking any risk you will never ever earn some money so it's better to invest. If you are investing into bitcoin. Then it is the most amazing thing. It is not even a risk i prefer to people invest into bitcoin because it will boost your profit on daily base.

First of all, not everyone who takes risks are making money from it and second of all, you can definitely earn profit even without having to take any risk. You can make money from signature campaigns. Is there a risk at all? Maybe in some altcoin campaigns but in bitcoin campaigns that have the funds escrowed? I don't think there's a risk at all. On the other hand, I agree with you on a different degree. Investing lets you earn profit and sometimes it's profit more than what you expect. I didn't really expect bitcoin to grow this much. Last year the price was just $600 and while I expect the price to rise, I didn't expect it to rise up to $5800. If I did, I should have hold all of my coins. I expected it to rise like $800 but never this much.

Bitcoin is a good way to invest your money but with the current price, it's becoming harder and harder to believe that because the price is already high. But then again this is what people also thought when the price of bitcoin was $4200 and then in just a couple of days the price of bitcoin went up to $5800. Obviously $5800 is not the highest price bitcoin will ever reach.

It will entirely depend on how well you're gonna manage your investment. Bitcoin's price is so volatile that you could not predict exactly if its price will continue to go up or if it will suddenly go down. But for me, I will invest my money on bitcoin but first I will ensure that I will invest at the right time so that I will not regret it later on.
