I always thought to give gifts to my friends who are birthday or married but with what I have to give, I do not have enough money. But I have some bitcoin to give to him. Masalhnya he does not know bitcoin. So I think to change my bitcoin to the currency. And buy him something worthwhile. That's what I often do to give gifts to my friends.

If my friend knows what bitcoin is all about and if we have a better solution to spend bitcoin then i am happy to gift them to my friend as a wedding gift as usually we used to give a donation from friends if there is a marriage and it is possible to gift them with bitcoin rather than the fiat currency and for that to happen we need more front ends that will allow us to spend the coins easily.

I probably would if Bitcoin would spread like that in my surroundings and friend circle, it could be cool and unusual, but money is money. Unfortunately, my whole country is weak of knowledge of Bitcoin and it is not bery interesting to the people here.

I wouldn't give bitcoin as a wedding gift only because couples like having gifts that are helpful for the family that they are going to start. I am aware that money is mostly what they are going to be needing in the future but bitcoin isn't necessarily money. Unless one of them is a bitcoin user, I wouldn't give bitcoin as a wedding gift. They will appreciate it more it it's something that have a physical appearance. An example of this is clothes for the baby, bottles, and whatnot baby stuffs. It can also be a trip to a Paris for example. Bitcoin is just hard to understand for beginners and I don't think they will not have the time to learn all these things just to get the bitcoins that you gave to them.

If they have a bitcoin wallet, then why not give them some of your bitcoin? it is not bad to give some of it and I think newly weds will also appreciate your gift because you still give effort to give a gift to them and if they already know about bitcoin and they also have bitcoin, for sure they will really love your give and save it for their budget for their honeymoon. |

Actually for me receiving bitcoin would be same as receiving a Card with money on it which could be a desirable gift but it would be better to receive a Physical Item as a Gift since it would leave memories for the receiver. But if I were to give bitcoin as a gift for such an occasion then it would be better with a Physical gift too. |

Only if I new the married couple is Bitcoin enthusiasts who now and appreciate the value of Bitcoin. Otherwise this would make no sense and it might not be such convenient choice because of volatility.

Just give cash. People who are getting married are often looking to buy a house soon or something... To be honest, I honestly would want to(in the future). The issue is that it is very unlikely that my future wife would look at bitcoin the same way as I do. Unless I marry a nerdy girlfriend, she definitely won't be interested in it. You know most girls, they prefer shiny jewelry.
Bitcoin will be a wedding gift? Great, this is a new idea. You're right, it just becomes a gift of thought when your beloved loves a bitcoin just like you. If she is completely unaware of bitcoin then donating will not make sense. That's the case! |

Giving a certain amount of Bitcoin as a gift for a wedding is much more practical than gifting stoves, furniture, or whatever related. The newly wed need money more than anything at that time in order to help them on the beginning of their married life. And giving Bitcoin instead of a hard cash is much more thoughtful. With Bitcoin, the couple may gain more from that amount and it will greatly help them in the new chapter of their lives. On the other hand, I prefer that I am the one who will receive Bitcoin on my wedding and not the one who will give to other. Though it is, just like others say, better to give than to receive, but if Bitcoin is the one to be given, I'll go the other way around. |

Well, it matters what sort of gift and if these people actually like bitcoin. Cause if they don't this is something that's just dumb, now they're going to have to figure out how to sell this thing cause they're going to have no use for it in the least. Though if they do support Bitcoin or something that's going to be different, though I will have to say I highly doubt many people that you know are going to be supporting this but if you do find them and think this is the best gift for them while they're going to be trying to build a family them so be it.
