Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Before you make any transaction or send money to any party, do some research on them. Check their reputation, see their feedback on trust, if you are going to trade with another Bitcointalk member or look for your name on Google.

Your hints and advise are very well appreciated. They are all true. If all the steps highlighted are strictly followed and considered before trading with anybody, hardly can anyone be scammed. However, this is not useful for newbies alone. It still serve as caution for every other member on this forum.

Try your best to pick the best coin you can afford to buy, it is always nice to have afriend or someone who is in the cryptocurrency field for a long time trading, to get knowledge about bitcoin or any kind of cryptocurrency

Beware of new friends offering a lower price than the trading price, as bitcoins .... It is better to make a video call, escrow, which you can trust.

Gotta be really cool seing all these posts when they get at least a member status.

My mistakes were: believing what people say in chats.

Independent Ratings Agency Alerts Investors About Dangers of Tether
Weiss Ratings, an independent U.S. agency which recently published letter grades for cryptocurrencies, has issued an alert to investors about the dangers of tether (USDT). It highlights common fears about the stablecoin which is claimed to be fully covered by U.S. dollar reserves.(The goal is to shave the hamsters)
(self-build analysis)
“The big issue: There’s never been an audit, and the folks behind Tether has been quite shady when asked. They have continuously claimed their tokens are backed 100% by actual dollars, yet they have failed to present any evidence to support this claim. On social media, there appears to be consensus that what Tether is actually doing is running a fractional reserve system. In other words, most observers claim they DO NOT have the dollars to back up all those Tether coins.
