Well, wait to see the reaction of the market when (if) asics are mass released. Exchange prices will go up and (ordinary) people will loose interest. No more 'make free digital money'.
Ltc won't have this problem

Someone will make an LTC ASIC.

Just wait  Wink

People are trying so hard everywhere in these forums to entice fear about litecoin. That's so shady. Whatever all the cheaper to buy.

I just see the price and tell you like it is, we're going down no doubt about it

Any chance you could briefly explain, or point me to where some info about how btc and ltc mining differ? + Whether they have different set-up preferences? Ex. which GPUs are more suited to btc/ltc and why?

Thanks  Smiley

It'll take a lot of effort and investment at this point. I think it'll happen, but not anytime soon.

Here I usually check all altcoins.

http://dustcoin.com/mining

I trust in Freicoin for social projects. I met Jtimon, he is a good guy.
Mark and him are not scammers like others altcoins.

0.00016100 FRC/BTC is the current price of it.

There is a good comment from Freicoin, the demurrage will help to be the fees for miners in a future without new coins mined.
Centralization of the fundation is the weakness, But their coins also have oxidation.

It all depends on how much people believe in the powers of the alt coin. Thats is, the powers within the protocol and the ones who control it.

being a newbie, I went on BTC-e and traded my BTC for LTC, NMC, TRC, PPC, FTC, CNC, and they all fell in value, except NVC, which seems to be slowly going up.  From what I've researched in the bitcoin community,  the price drop must be all the miners selling there hoard of coins as soon as these new ALTcoins hit the exchanges.

I remember seeing it jump up to $27 very suddenly and thinking I should do something about that. Then I remember watching it every day as it went up to $226 and thinking to myself, OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG! And that was just this year. (grin)
