So, is it right time to covert all the BTC to litecoin yet? It is only 0.09 from BTC to LTC....

I've been dealing with BitCoins since March 2013 and It's the only NEW currency I have dealt with...I have heard of other coins like litecoin but haven't ventured out to try them just yet...Still trying to wrap my mind around Bitcoin and all that comes with it!

I think it is only worth bitcoin or Litecoin. Litecoin long as after exchange for bitcoin. Why so many coins with the same function? Worldcoin, Gold Coin... Too much risk for nothing

Thank you to all who have contributed to this long thread.
I would like to start my first venture by mining PPM. Can they be mined using a raspberry pi set up, of just a graphics card and CPU ?
What are some of the preferred methods for mining?
Should I start by purchasing 5 or ten coins to start? If so, what is the best method to purchase PPM using USD ?

I created tagcoin, but as far as I know I am not related to Paul from Cryptsy...actually I had no idea who it was owned by...you can check me online (Mark Vernon), as the owner of vtc.com, eduslide.com, iplotz.com - my picture is on a few places, crunchbase.com, linkedin and so on... I have been around for quite a long time, and you can even see some of my training cd products still listed on amazon where I was the author soooo long ago (1996 onwards) As for Tagcoin, my aim is to create a universal rewards currency, which is one of the best ways to turn it into a real currency, via Tagbond.com and the API which enables anyone to create their own communities, apps and websites which handles rewards and payments. I am investing USD 5m of my own money into the venture, which has been built from Feb 2013. It is live now, with a team of 25 people, based out of Makati, Philippines. Anyone who wants to trade BTC or TAG can do so on trade.tagbond.com, and we posted today the details of 9 different currency accounts to deposit funds and buy/sell. We will allow Paypal deposits for less than $100, but we won't make that automated for obvious reasons. Any more info, feel free to read up everything that has been happening over the last 3 weeks since launch. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=317408

Actually, the best way is to build your own. Its just like building a PC with 4 or more graphic cards...

Just getting into mining LTC. Seems fun so far. What are the best pools to use? I'm trying MultiPool but it seems like it's not recognizing my full hash rate, only like 25% of it. I'm kicking myself now for not getting into BTC mining when I first heard of it years back.

It appears LiteCoin and BitCoin are the favourites!

Going to put money on Litecoin, Peercoin, Namecoin and possibly Novacoin.
$100AUD on each coin IMO and pray that one gets a bitcoin-like boom. One can only hope.
