(X-Post from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=368226 )

waiting for the official API, I created a google spreadsheet to track the price of alternative cryptocurrencies.

It scrapes the HTML every minute and it parses it, making sure that the coins are always ordered.

I don't suppose it is possible to get the total supply of Elacoin using that script? (Sorry if this is a noob question... I really know nothing about programming)

I don't know where to find the total supply of Elacoin but I'm hoping someone in this section does so Elacoin can get relisted on CoinMarketCap.com.

Nice job !

I'm doing the same but for an Android application that will contain all major exchanges and coin prices + a portfolio (to track the value in USD of all possessed bitcoins/altcoins) + a coinmarketcap page which will also parse the HTML data (while no API is available).

Unfortunately, exams take tons of time, I hope I will be able to work a little more during holidays (doing something that's not aweful to use is actually not that simple...)

Thanks Wink
I thought about doing an android version but then I realized that with a decent screen (nexus 5) there are no better options than having a bookmark widget that goes to the google drive's spreadsheet Wink
Anyway, if you find your way around, please let me know!

NXT should be de-listed, for the same reason for which Ripple was de-listed.

Love your site. I visit it several times a day.

I have one suggestion:

It would be useful as new coins are added if there was a quick way to tell if the coin is Script/Sha.  Just a little symbol on the edge, or even hover text. Most new coins are scrypt and I have the Sha coins memorized, but it's the only tiny bit of useful info missing from an otherwise brilliant site.

Cheers,

I also ask you for GrandCoin, please Smiley

Bliss asked to give him some website so he can get the total number of Coins live (not only for Grand also for all Coins that people want him to add BTW).

Bitconian responded with

Quote

for GrandCoin, but I'm not sure total number of coins is available from that URL ... (I'm no expert BTW so I might be wrong)

EDIT : Ok so apparently we can get this information there, my bad ...

Yes a working block explorer and a place where the coin is traded for price (cryptsy) is all that is needed for listing.
So Grandcoin should be up there soon enough. Would be good to see. It's got a very nice climb potential in total value
from where it is now. A good number of coins but not crazy like some (looking at you Colossus). Not too easy to mine (looking at you Quark).
Stable growth rate since release. Large but in charge. I like.

Looking forward to a Grandcoin (GDC) listing.

Thanks for your hard work Gliss!

Why was stable coin removed from the list?

Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless — like water. Now you put water in a cup, it becomes the cup; You put water into a bottle it becomes the bottle; You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.
