There's something wrong with the calculation of DMD's market cap: the site says there are 191,902 DMD but, according to diamondblocks.info we are at block # 216,086. So, there should be around 225,090 DMD (since each block has on average 1500/1440 DMD to account for random bonus blocks).

Not a huge difference, but it'd be good if it was corrected.

Seriously, do your research before you put any coin on the site.

I don't buy premined coins. Nor coins which aren't listed in DECENT exchange sites.
That's all.

About the train you're mentioning, I'm riding 5 trains in 5 parallel universes. Wink Big bags.

Hey, smexy. Don't waste your time. Time's precious.

Could you add MMC?

Block explorer which shows total amount of coins: http://www.chainbrowser.com/memorycoin/
Exchange: https://bter.com/trade/mmc_btc

Thanks.

Yes! Please add MemoryCoin 2.0 This is new innovative coin from the developer of ProtoShares. MMC is the next big thing in CPU coins.

Yeah, please add MMC. It now has a block explorer, an exchange and a few pools.
Please add MMC 2.0 soon.
+1

Thanks for adding MMC.

So why is Mastercoin $170.40? Is that being manipulated now?

This kind of manipulation by Doge, NXT and MSC just makes cryptos look like a joke. If people can manipulate the markets this easy, then once the media get a hold of this Bitcoin and cryptos will look like nothing but scams and pyramid schemes people claim them to be.

I don't know anything about NXT or MSC, however DOGE is most certainly not the result of price manipulation. The DOGE market would be way harder to manipulate than most of the altcoins with the demand it's seeing -- it has more volume in BTC in the last 24 hours on Cryptsy than just about any other coin.

I dont know about Doge coin but Mastercoin and NXT both are traded through their own exchange they need to be removed

Edit: Dogecoin is listed on
    Cryptsy
    COINS-E
    Vircurex.com Exchange
    BTER

So no real problem with price discovery, unlike NXT and MSC which are traded on their own setup exchanges and are completely manipulated, Master market cap is higher then PPC and NXT is higher then NMC? are you kidding me ?? lol

This is really sad.

It was previously number one on coinmarketcap due to price manipulation.

Did anyone ever figure out why it showed / shows Devcoin, which mints 50,000 coins per block, as having a total number of coins that is not 0 mod 50000 ?

the current coinmarketcap is all over the place and v misleading, this is a serious issue that needs to be fixed. it provides a false impression.

alternatively a newer, accurate, based on real marketcap website needs to be launched.

Please remove NXT and Mastercoin, 100% premined coins should be categorized differently.

Gliss could add another column - market cap including all future mined coins.

Mastercoin is completely different from NXT. Read the Mastercoin spec and come back.
Also it was never mined.

So we'll begin listing PROTOCOL layers in a list of COIN MARKET CAP now?

Come on, I can't go on and use this if things like Mastercoin pop up in this list.

I believe the consequences of allowing anyone to create their own coin and give it a value without any consent will take crypto currencies backwards and possibly create an unfair market ruled by marketcap rather than true investments by the crypto community. Please consider this. They should be listed as per ripple.

We all have a responsibility in how we want to shape the image of cryptocurrency and the aim should be to positively share and grow amongst who ever is open to mine and trade and help grow the crypto world. Regardless i am sure there are memebers who will aim to create a replacement though im sure we all enjoy coinmarketcap and would like to see it support the community as it always has.
