12/15/13 - Added DogeCoin

Really?

Yup, and it was number one on coinmarketcap yesterday:

fake stats that got manipulated on purpose

Yeah, I know, but it was pretty funny, although compounds my sentiment that Dogcoin is a joke.

Added NetCoin and GrandCoin.

Sorry about the DogeCoin glitch, it should now avoid price manipulations on tiny volume.

Thanks gliss. I appreciate it.

I still feel that only coins on at least 2 decent exchanges should be listed though. If a coin can't be traded in large volumes then the market price doesn't really represent the cap very well.

Maybe make a criteria for listing a coin, else this will be filled with crapcoins soon.

Thanks for adding Philosopher's Stone (PHS) Gliss. Finally a great dev and a fair coin getting some limelight.
Looks like it's getting some play on Crypsty.

It was already going up steady last few weeks and I like that it's starting with a low cap.
You also get PoW interest from holding coins. They are nice and rare on top of that.
Like no sell resistance. Totally undervalued.

As I typed this it went up 30% ... hmm ,be right back lol

Thanks for doing this. Can this be considered a more or less "official source" of alt-Coins? It would be nice to have some minimum requirements, as some of these are forks where not a single line of code was changed.

Actually trading at higher volumes than any altcoin except Quark. Even on the smalish CoinedUp exchange Doge is pulling volumes as one of the most traded alt coin.

Coins ordered by trade volume regardless of exchange:

you can also sort by trading volume (expressed in BTC) of all trading pairs to one each coin here:
http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/coins/info
just click on the table header "Volume"

Are there people on there who would trade Litecoin for Dogecoin?

I would like to work on development of a polymorphic altcoin that maintains a stable value and is more resistant to fraud.
