It does not work like this, you can't takeover something what is supported by lot of people and what is listed on other exchanges by using CYC symbol for over a year and a half.

Hey there. I think you should look into banxshares. Coinmarketcap is indexing the price from an exchange operated by the creators of the coin and this has obviously given them the chance to showcase a false price and therefore a very inflated market cap.

In my opinion the coin should either be delisted or coinmarketcap should index the price from a real exchange. Currently the only one is this one: https://alcurex.org/index.php/crypto/BANX_BTC
