I wonder how much Gliss was paid to remove the BCN premine flags and shut up about it? It's sad that people are so easily bought.

I guess this is why everyone is moving to CoinGecko.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Probably paid by one of the people who premined 82% of all Bytecoins.

Seriously ? That's so childish to tell he was paid just because you are not satisfied with the result.

It's not a matter of dissatisfaction, it's a matter of morality. As has been discussed, even if you choose not to view it as a premine (in spite of anyone who matters viewing it as such) but instead want to acknowledge the impossibility that it existed for 2 years in secret, that still requires a flag of some sort. Call it a "ninja premine" or a "non-public mine" or whatever you want, but it needs a flag acknowledging that 82% of the coin was mined before its public launch. The end.

Hey all, very happy to announce that I'm about to release a new version of the site.  In terms of design it's very similar but on the back end it was a complete overhaul which was necessary to accommodate the huge number of coin and exchange requests coming through these days.  Please report any glitches so I can fix before releasing.  Thanks!

http://beta.coinmarketcap.com/

New features so far:

- New detail pages with 365 Day charts
- Improved "All Coins" view with 1hr and 7d % changes
- Currency converter on the volume page
- Ability to add coins without price or supply
- Toggling to BTC will now show percentage changes relative to Bitcoin
- Graphs show price in BTC
- Asynchronous loading of graphs on landing page (Improved loading times)

+ Many more to come

Why do you tell Bytecoin was secretly mined though CN has many times confirm there were a lot of miner during 2 years?!

So you believe everything they tell you?

Incidentally, judging by the network hash rate over those 2 years, there were only 30 individual computers mining it (assuming they use the crippled miner that the code shipped with) or more likely less than 10 individual computers (if they made a 2 line change to the main loop in slow_hash.c) - that's certainly not "a lot of miner" by any measure.

On Ripple something wrong with charts, I guess at most points you use 100 bn total issue while at some 7,5 bn total issue. Total issue is one stated on their web page + 9 bn owned by Jed which he claimed to have started selling.

Hi, I'd like to start by saying I absolutely love coinmarketcap.com, and use it constantly.  But one feature on the most recent update that is really frustrating me, and is in fact why I made my account on the forums.  It's the price being changed to BTC on the graphs, without the option to change it to USD, I used that multiple times a day to check what a coin use to be worth X amount of time ago.  But now I have to know what BTC is worth and do the math etc. before i can find out what a coin was worth X amount of time ago.  I am quite excited to see the 365 day button though.  I would just love to see a toggle button for USD/BTC on the price side of the graphs.  I do hope you see this post, and greatly appreciate your effort on an awesome site.  Thanks for reading this, and keep up the good work.  Grin

A whole bunch of you supporters of bytecoin use english with the same grammar mistakes.

Googling some of the phrases you guys use, they show up prominently on both irish and chinese sites.

So which is it? Are you guys irish or chinese?

Are you a racist? Does it matter what country I was born?  Angry

Now it has become personal for me.

You Bytecoin shill accounts keep throwing the race card - when will you understand that we don't give a fuck where you were born or what the colour of your skin is or what your ethnicity is? I hate people of all races equally, get over yourself and stop imagining that throwing the race card will get you any sympathy.

The point that no-ice-please was making is that there are common phrases and common grammatical / spelling faux pas made by all of the Bytecoin shill accounts. Your attempts at disguising this have failed; your subsequent attempts at changing the focus of the debate (a strawman argument, if I ever saw one) have now been exposed over and over.

I've said it once, and I will say it over and over again: you have LOST. Give it up. Go back to living in your mom's basement and curl up into a ball and cry yourself to sleep. We are not stupid, we will not fall for scamcoins with ninja premines / hidden instamines / whatever-the-fuck-mine-you-have, and doubling down on your arguments just makes you look inept and incapable.

Go. Away.
