Do Altcoins really have a future?

I think in short term every thing is possible as we experienced high increase in prices of most of major altcoins such as Ethereum. But in long term everything depends on what will happen to Bitcoin.
In my opinion in future we will have only one acceptable cryptocurrency. If Bitcoin can solve its problems like high transaction fees that you mentioned, It will be that cryptocurrency. If not we should wait for another cryptocurrecncy that will replace Bitcoin.
We should also consider another important issue which is governments decisions. In future after accepting bitcoins by entire world, Governments would like to have more control on the system. We should wait for their decision whether they want bitcoin to be that major cryptocurrency or not.

I so agree. If we will talk about the future of the altcoins, I will say it all depends on the bitcoin. There are some altcoins which will just disappear while a few will remain like the etherium which is already known by all.

Altcoins is an alternative to securities that are represented in digital form. Altcoins may never become an alternative means of payment, but they will not disappear as long as the project continues to function.

new coins come out every day in crypto money world. Prices are steadily decreasing due to the decrease in the volume of money on the market. some subcoins will die like this.

Too many of altcoin makes the competition very tight, personally I'm not sure altcoin can last for a long time, I subscribe to newsletters from several trading sites and they tell me will remove the trading service for passive coins.

When it comes to altcoins, there are some many opportunities that are yet to be explored. With still potential opportunities, altcoins have a bright future ahead. Although some might fall or die as long the way, yet there are those that will survive the hurdles.
I have also noticed that there are some altcoins despite their falls, they will rise again.
The technological base of some altcoins are also of great importance.

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

I believe etheeium or other altcoin can reach the value of bitcoin it is just a matter of popularity and the accessibilitt to the mass. If the currency is not helpful enough it will not be popular and it eill not gain enough people to support it. Imagine if you can persuade the audience of bitcoin into spending time in a single altcoin. Itll surely make a change

Some of altcoins have a future. I believe in projects with strong team and community, that have already a product or at least prototype, and are solving real problem.

Yes,some altcoins has a great future.I think ethereum is the best altcoin which have a great future.Also aion,waves,cred,drg is good altcoin.This coin have a great future also.If you hold the coins for 1 years you will get too much profit.

Ethereum is good altcoin. I am believe that ethereum will have good prospect and maybe able to compete with bitcoin on market cap. In my opinion, with many platform using ethereum, demand on ethereum will be increasing and price will going up
