would not be surprised at a DDoS. Any new coin gets this, its ridiculous. But yeah your pool is struggling, all my shares are now stales (5Mh/s)

looks like my hoster has completely removed network connectivity from my host from now. I can only see it got no load now via KVM connection.
I will keep you updated.

awesome. i've got zero connectivity to my server, and got no reply from tech support yet. though i can see the box through KVM, and it got no networking there.
hope to get some answer from support soon.

I just got confirmation by the data center that your IP has been nullrouted because of an incoming DDoS attack.
The attack is still going on right now and the IP will be unblocked when the DDoS stops.

They ddos new coin pools so everyone else flops around / has to solo mine with poor results, while the botnets connect to a private pool and mine away without problems.
Its coin hoarding.
But 1.6G/s is small change when it comes to DDOS
