Do you set up limits for yourself?

I want to setup limits for my self in order to avoid losing alot of money and losing the money i already make. being a greedy when playing gambling will take your bitcoin at risk just chill your mind first before going on a gambling. ive been a gambler for a long time thats why im planning to make some limits like hours of play and hours when i will stop.

If you already experienced gambler, then you should know that no way we can make money from gambling in the long run. So if possible avoid gambling every day then only you can reduce your losses in the gambling. Find some other activities to do during your free time, and that will help you in limiting your losses from gambling.

Gambling is quite fun, but to be honest, gambling is not something that you should do every day, there is no one that can afford to play in those intervals because as we know the house has an edge that will slowly eat your funds until you have nothing left.

I agree, gambling is entertaining but we need discipline to have a hold of ourselves.  With that we need to set up limits to ourselves.  We cannot discipline ourself if we do not know limitations nor setup limitations like time, budget, frequency, emotion and urge.  These factors are needed to be controled to be able to play gambling games for a long time without affecting ourselves and people around us negatively.

Gambling gives fun and excitement to every player so it risk everything when you become addicted into it so setting any limitations in amount of many and on yourself is important. Having limitations can help you to control yourself. It can sure that you cannot lose everything you have with this limits. Winning with the small amount of money can help to sum up your profit that can be use in other terms such as trading and investment.

set up limits for ourself is good but we need to obey and must listen with ourself because if not its useless and we are only risk our money to still playing gambling. but for set up limits, i won't asked gambling site to block my account because its the same as i close my account forever and its better i do it with my way.

It seems to me that this will not bring any result. If a person sets a goal not to do what he does not want, he will do so. And all technical limitations or moral limitations for oneself personally, can end with the fact that the person himself will simply take, and cancel everything. Most gamblers have a difficulty setting up a limit on themselves. It is because they treat gambling as a way to earn profit. They won't stop until they are contented on their winnings. They don't notice that they just lose more compare on what they win.

Well for me I definitely set up my limitations because if I will not then there's a high possibility for me to be get addicted to. In my rookie days I set up my limitions into twice to thrice per week play only to avoid addiction and lossing my money as well. However, for now I did stop playing gambling because I realize that I'm just wasting my money from it and it cannot lead me to success exept if you were the owner of gambling site.

Its really a potential danger if we arent aware on the possible things that might happen to us if we do decide to play gambling for constant and longer hours because addiction already comes to us on the next door if we arent aware on it. We should really control ourselves not to tempt or to be addicted later on because this thing is really hard to get it from ones self which you will end up on doing things that you didnt expect which would result on having a problem regarding on financial. Setting limits is really a wise move if you dont like on something to happen to you on playing too much gambling.

Yeah I know how to limit myself; I know how much bet will depend on money that I have in that moment and I know how to stop. I am not that kind of person that is really addicted in gambling, because people who are addicted in gambling cannot limit themselves anymore. They wants to bet and bet until they don't have enough money left in their pocket which is not good and we need more learning and understanding about life. I think they are not a responsible person so that they are letting their mind to control them.

Yeah I know how to limit myself; I know how much bet will depend on money that I have in that moment and I know how to stop. I am not that kind of person that is really addicted in gambling, because people who are addicted in gambling cannot limit themselves anymore. Some people say that it is hard to limit themselves but it is actually easy. I have tried it myself and Im not feeling troubled with it. Sometimes it may be hard but when we are used to it then we can do it. People are going to need to limit themselves and only play for fun or they will lose money

YES! I set limits for myself. I know anything too much is bad especially it is “gambling”. Being engage in gambling is not a joke. I may lose everything I have in just one wrong decision. Well I only do gambling for fun and sometimes I can’t control myself. But I just make sure it won’t happen again. I have to manage well my money. I may not be greedy. If I won I must be contented on that and not wish for more.

What about your capability to follow your limiting plans. Because almost all the people do plan but only very few people do follow them strictly. If we are not following strictly then there will be no meaning of setting up limits for our gambling.

Some gamblers are following their limits for some times and after that they do get bored of usual gambling and will decide to take little more risk which may lead to breaching their own limitations.

Being a disciplined person is something that will help you not only in gambling but in any other sphere of your life, how many people you know that say they are going to do an exercise routine or a diet only to give up a few weeks later, in order to see results you need to be disciplined for months or even years.

To make sure that I “follow my limiting plans” I give a punishment to myself if I don’t follow it. It is my way of disciplining myself. It is for my own sake or else if I don’t follow it I will suffer. I am not very lucky in gambling so I will just lose money if I will not set my limits. Yes I get your point because I knew people like that. I have a family member that do not set her limit and she ends with nothing and I don’t want to be like that. That is why I’m considering this as a lesson.

Since you know your weakness, you could try to practice self-limiting like the topic here because if you keep that up you would end up always a loser after every game, "busto" like you said. Try to improve on it maybe you could get back what you lost.

Yes I do set limits to myself not only in gambling but with the other things in my life. I set limits so I will not involve much of myself in gambling so that I will not get addict to it. Anything too much is bad. I may also lose a big amount of money if I get involved in gambling. Well sometimes, if I am winning I am not following these limits and I just let myself enjoy but I have to make sure that if it will be repeated after a long time.

Personally, I set limits for myself. If you don't want to get addicted you have to learn self control. Also, if you start winning don't be greedy and try to win lots of money in a short while otherwise you risk loosing your money. i also have a limit for myself. i try to trade and invest such amount of money that i have setup for myself. i think if we have a good limit both in trading and gambling i am sure that it can prevent us from a big lost and reduce the risk of losing money. i think there are so many people who even have a good limit but still they cannot follow that limit and therefore for most of the time they lose money there.

Ok, consider the situation when you set a limit say at 0.01 BTC per day and you lose it during the very first minute of your betting? What would you do next? There are many gamblers who would deposit another 0.01 right away thinking that they can't be so unlucky to lose it again quickly. But the thing is that that is quite possible. And after losing another 0.01 things start getting worse usually. So you should never do it. You should never exceed your limit whatever excuses you might have, ever.

What about your limits on losing side. Do you set any target on that also or you will listen to your emotions while recovering your losses ? But when you are not following your gambling plans, there will be no meaning of setting up any limits on either side of your financial deed. I am saying this as you are not controlling yourself.

Setting up limits for gambling should be a secondary step as first step must be gaining control over our emotions. Only then we can find limiting ourselves will be possible even gambling made us wild too.

For me I always set myself a limit whenever I gambling especially if you are playing in a casino, they always make you wanna play by giving you free drinks, food, live bands and etc. It is really tempting to stay and play but that's what they do because they want your money and they want to earn money. That's why I always set myself a limit and I always think that I could have bought something else or food than betting it and waste my money that's why I'm not fun of gambling. I only gamble occasionally when we go to other cities to just check it out and if I have no luck I stop and leave thats it. In gambling you need patience and self control that's why if you don't have that you can't stop gambling or you'll go bankrupt. There are ways to stop from gambling addiction, the most common one is that to call the casino ( if you are gambling in casino ) that to ban you from entering the casino or if you are addicted on gambling online, you can give your wallet to your wife or mom or someone who you can trust so that you can't deposit money online. There are ways to prevent it, its better to stop now than later when you can't stop anymore. Hope it helps
