Yes I agree with you that if you limit your self you know when to stop and when to do kit again. Wasting money in gambling is such a bullshit idea that no one will want to. it is too much risky that if you will take loan from your friends and then you lost that money, it really create a big problem, you should not try to play gambling using loan. you should play gambling only on such money that you can easily afford to lose and which do not affect you too much financially.
