Dear contributors and collaborators. Today we've suffered an attack on our slack. Someone tried to scam our users into a website where they will steal their ETH coins if they sign up. Posibly they will also try to make them install some malware on their computers.

In order to keep the safety of your investments and your ETH holdings, keep in mind these advice:

• We will NEVER contact you through the @slackbot user on slack. All our announcements are done on the #general or the #announcements channels.
• Our team is formed by a small group of people that are listed now on our website at https://obsidianplatform.com/#team
• The full list of authorized team members on our slack is:

Well, getting attacked means that even the hackers/scammers see potential in this project, haha. On a more serious note: the developments look great! I have tested the messenger and I am very impressed. Being thís secure could open doors to a whole lot more.

Yes, that is correct, we have updated our user system so all of this should work perfectly for everyone going forwards.

Your balance is not 0, even if it shows just that. Be sure to write us an email to info@obsidianplatform.com with the details. If you invested in BTC before the latest change from one single address to a personalized one for each contributor, you must send txid and maybe other identification data so we can find your contribution easier

What happend with my earlier investment?Now i have personal btc address.

No worries your investment is all safe and still associated with your profile on our site. We implemented personal addresses so that going forward people will be able to see their current ODN value by logging in to their profile. Also it creates another layer of security for the ICO.

hi, so how come when i logged in to my profile,my ODN balance still says zero?

We have recently switched from a common donation address to a personalized one. We are still doing some fixing but you will see it as soon as possible. Thanks for understanding

Changes are live now! You will be able to see your contributions if you did them before or after the personalized address change

Thank you for letting us know. Your ODN is still reserved, it is just not automatically showing on the user profile balance.

We have quickly discovered that in some isolated cases, the ODN balance may not show automatically for some contributors. We are performing a full manual verification process right now.

This issue may affect contributors who (before unique wallets were generated) contributed BTC.

This may also affect contributors who either entered an incorrect ETH address that they contributed from, or contributed from multiple ETH addresses.

Please note: The ODN is reserved for these contributors, but it is not currently showing automatically on their user profile balance.

i want to put more bitcoin but it would be nice if i can see my ODN balance first from my 1st contribution😏

Yes that is right, the best thing to retrieve your balance figure, if you were an early contributor, is to ask the relevant mod(s) in our Slack group.

Can be many reasons for why alot of people have looked away from this project.

I see that the team has stepped up their marketing game in the last couple of days which is good.

In the end i think this platform is here to stay and got a a great future ahead of it.

I too was an early contributor, and I quickly got my email confirmation that it had been added to my wallet. The second time I did it, there was no need to email them, and it was literally added to my balance within a few minutes >5 mins. 

If you did it a few weeks back, and got the confirmation email, and still don't see the balance, I too would be concerned and would reach out to them directly via email or slack channel. I'm sure they'll fix it, they seem pretty on top of things.

On another note, I just watched their video demo of their Chat program, and it looks pretty impressive.
