Do you just need to open the wallet until it syncs? Just downloaded the wallet to check and it's not connecting.
in my case, i downloaded and openeed the wallet, it didnt do anything for a long time,go to this page and make a config file after you opened and closed your wallet https://deeponion.org/community/threads/deeponion-tor-wallet-creating-conf-file.63/then mine went in sync, it just takes a few hours. thanks hope this was ok Did this and worked like a charm. Wallet synce in less than 10 mins.

Network hashing power peaked last night at 80GH/s. That is quite a lot already and will surely hurt GPU miners. We had peaks of over 90GH/s 6 hours into launch, so yea we as miners never had it easy from the outset, but as things went along it kinda settled around the 40GH/s and below mark with your occasional rented miners coming online. wow, such higher mining powers! those days my mining coins drop a lot compared to 4 days ago. I also think there have such many airdrop coins, mining has any profits? so if the power increase more, i will stop mining.

I have registered a week back for the airdrop. Is there anyway I can check that my address is correctly recorded?
There's a check status page on the OP. There's lots of info in the OP but people keep on asking on the thread. Maybe it should be summarized or sorted better? No, it is perfectly summarized on the OP. The main thing, why people are asking the same thing again and again here is ... you know it, the 10 postings rule. Every thing has to sides, you want a large community, you want many postings here, so you will get 80 % useless overhead in postings here, thats reality. Developers know that there are so much repetitive questions and useless information. But the 10 postings rule....... For the short time, it helps to blow up but you know it's just illusion It will be better if one system could be developed to exclude those useless information. Who is the deep learning expert probably can help.

I feel dicriminated about this airdrop, following this project..
Don't feel so please, there are a lot of rounds you can participate and so much ONIONs to receive. Good seeds supporting the project will benefit more. We are very dedicated component dev team. You will feel much comfort and luck and sense of fairness with us. Just jumped a level from jr.member to member, how much onion would I be likely to receive in the first round of the airdrop as i stands now just a day before it happens?
You will be paid from the new member level!

Yes it is so actually but sometimes the core seeds are full can't be connected (and we will fix this soon) For now people can't sync should add some extra nodes to the DeepOnion.conf It is so interesting how fast this project seems to grow - excellent marketing the devs did here and even though it still is a bit abstract it seems to become more concrete step by step - really looking forward to the airdrops!
Thank you; this is just a beginning of DeepOnion project. People will start to understand more and more when the Vote central established and in use and ONION holders will be running every vote and other communications over the DeepOnions TOR powered network with peace of mind.

i'm actually enjoying mining this. i'm a miner at heart and i have missed all the fiddling with rigs. i've been mining eth and zec ect. you have to wait for days before you see the coins come into the wallet. this is like the old days
What kind of rig do you have? I have tried mining onions with my smallest rig (2x rx 480 GPU), but can't even get any shares accepted by the pool... Do you need ASIC? i have a few rigs with a total of 15 r9 290's/290x's. no asics Hmm, interesting. Then I should also be able to produce valid shares. What software are you using? I've tried sgminer so far, with no success. @vectisitch. Would you mind sharing your config? I don't get why I don't get this working. Never had any trouble mining other coins, but never tried x13 also before. Trying to use x13mod in sgminer. instead of inputting -x13mod, input -x13modold. i'm using sph sgminer x13mod THANKS! Using x13modold works! Now I produce accepted shares consistently. However, hashing rate is a bit lower than with standard x13mod, well you can't have it all

Well, I do know, because honestly I thought I was registed here literally years ago, but, who knows, hard to keep up with everything, that I am earnestly trying to get the "jr. Member" qualification before the 21st and I hope no one becomes discouraged by the requirements. I can only imagine the long debates about that before the devs got to this point. I do have a suggestion, for the wallet UI, a small icon, in say the bottom left, click to lock / unlock, instead of or in addition to the dropdown option might be more obvious to some users. The lock/unlock icon is already there. It is usually not displayed because your wallet is not encrypted. Once you encrypt your wallet, you'll see it. See following screen shots.

Great looking project! Just joined the airdrop campaign. How much of the total supply will be distributed each week just out of curiosity? And is this campaign just for 3 weeks or is it ongoing and if so how long?

Perhaps better wait for the exchange and buy cheap coins.

@crypto-rainbow Can you confirm that the final count is done the 21 july ?
I have more than 10 valid posts for this week and the system tell me that I'm still "Skipped for the current coin distribution".
Thank you

Yeah, these days it is difficult to find x13 hashing power for sale for below 0.006BTC/GHs/Day on EU servers, that is 14USD a day for about 150 coins! It starts to be expensive! For sure when the coin hits exchange, if the price is below miner's cost, miners will buy instead of mine.

So I generated my first mOnion today via PoS! About 15 minutes afterwards another wee batch of mOnion popped into existence!
I thought it worth mentioning that it did take quite some time - approximately 18 hours - after I unlocked my wallet.
I'd be interested to here from other folks as to how their staking is going, (either here or at deepcoin.org).
