They addressed this a few posts back.  Basically you just swap out your signature. It's tied to the signature in some way.  Alot of thought has gone into this.

If you had attempted to read the error message it would be clear what's the error about. You starting onion wallet as a server (probably you want to solo mine?) so theres must be a config file like said in the error message. In your folder DeepOnion folder (win+r and enter "%appdata%/DeepOnion" to open it)  create DeepOnion.cfg file with rpc username and password. Or if you don't want to run a miner, just remove -server option from executable when trying to launch a wallet (right click DeepOnion-qt -> properties -> target field and delete -server parameter).

Too bad I'm still a newb *QQ*. Couldn't participate in first airdrop. Hopefully I'll be Jr. member before next drop.

Just re-start your QT it should be gone. After closing your QT give 20-30 seconds pause (waiting) between.

Simply backup deeponion.conf file. create new as per instruction with peernodes and if you are mining solo then other details too.
Start wallet. hopefully it will go away. Still if it persist then delete all files except wallet.dat in deeponion folder and start wallet. it will sync again and everything will up.

That is only if you have syncing error or you want to do solo mining. so if your wallet is working without config then no worry. keep as it is. You to add nodes address to config file only if you have issue with wallet update or syncing

It's a configuration file that can tweek certain setting with your wallet connection to the network. Staking is automatic. It will need to mature before it will stake, just wait at least 24hours before staking takes place. Those addresses connect your wallet to other nodes on the network.
