I bought most of my coins at 2$ and now the price is getting too low, is it safe to buy more? In a year from now, someone will be reading this post of yours and wish that they were the ones that bought most of their Onions at $2. Don't worry about it. I wish I bought most of my Ethereums at $12. Fully agree, 2 usd a coin is absolutely nothing... I made an estimation that if onion can reach half of Zcash’s market cap, price should be somewhere close to 20-25USD. So HODL.

Part of the problem is that people have no patience this days. NEM is a perfect example of patience paying off. 4million NEM tokens per participant were shared to those who showed interest in January 2014 (airdrop). Now did they all hold their coins? Ofcourse not, but to the 1% that held on, 4 million coins is equivalent to 1.28million dollars as of today. That is a space of 3 years.
Some of you have been working your day jobs for 5 years, and you still haven't saved upto $100,000 cumulatively.
This is just an example where by a community stood its ground and saw a project succeed.
I read through the early thread and trust me, most of the things happening now have happened in the past. Its human nature.
Patience is truly a virtue as not everyone has it. I just thought I should say this. Might give someone a better perspective. My 2 cents.
well some people leave the boat earlier , and some decide to stay wherever boat take them , so its your own choice to leave or stay , onion just born few months ago and get this bigger by sort of time , could you imagine till last airdrop how bigger it will be

Very well written! In 4 years nobody cares about the airdrop anymore. If a szenario gets true that is like "goverments want to ban crypto" this coin can increase by factor of 1000. It is the ONLY coin that uses the well-esablished TOR network to GURANTEE high anonymity to its users! Dont spend all thoughts about "the airdrop", take your time to think about the potential of this coin. It is unique, it has value, the market cap is ridiculous low with around 5 Million now. That is NOTHING in crypto land. If the coin really delivers and holds what it states, than this coin has a bright future.

yes @jstern
High emotions
Since I am not on the dev or mod team, i wonder what the discussion in their team will be: - unf*ck all the collateral damage, or - open up a new exchange just to give the finger to those cheating and then shitting up this ANN: didntget droppe boohooooo
Can you say some wise words about people that were banned for no reason and now will be white listed? Can you think for a second from their perspective? I would like to see your high emotions then.

Yes, emotions are too powerful and the people who caught on the burst of emotions in the past hours already sold their Onions. The dev team are working good and cleaning their backyard while working out with those people that been a collateral damage from the cleaning. But i can see on their forum they are active in solving these things and that is the quality of community that is one in a million in this generation. On the goodnews, the price pump now to 33ksats Bought 1.8k onions at 25k sats, now i got more cheap onions to increase my staking power.

It is placed as a long term oportunity... No good reasons for selling so soon. It must evolve first and catch some important price after some months/years

Received onions for the 7th airdrop. Again thank you. I'm quite surprised looks like there is reduction of participants than the 6th. Looking forward for the 8th round.

If it was a coin control mistake it was an error on your behalf so just fix everything and you'll be good to go for the 8th airdrop!

This helps put things in perspective. A very well written argument and should remind every single one of us that a FREE airdrop is something spectacular, and that we are all very early to the crypto game in the scheme of things.
