if unsold tokens are burned from 900mill, team will still keep 600mill tokens? or will it be decreased as well?
Yes I also wanted to know the same thing, if ever the 900M tokens will not be sold out and since currently as I saw your site the tokens sold now is around 30M which is only 3% of the tokens, how do you go about this? I haven't seen the soft cap also on your site which got me asking if it will be decreased or what. The rest of unsold tokens will be definitely burned, and 95% from the 700M tokens will be locked for 1 year. The few sold crowdfunding coins are worthless if almost one billion of coin a hold backhand. Opus should develop a solution for the token distribution. I guess no big investor will take part in the crowdfunding at the moment. if their is no big investors is invest in OPUS then how they sell more then 30 mil coin i think this ICO will be end up with success for sure and yes in the end of ICO the remaining coins will be burn i have seen it in the road map you guys should check out the roadmap on OPUS official website my all support with OPUS team and surely OPUS team will be successful. The unsold coins from the crowdfunding are going to be burned. The coins for the team etc won't get burned. So lets assume the crowdfunding ends with 50 Million sold tokens. Then only 50 Million from 750 Million existing tokens are circulating. The rest is in the hands of the foundation. This means either the token is worthless or the OPUS team are billionaires. Think twice which option is more realistic. They seem to have removed from their website the number of tokens sold. The Chinese version of the page still lists a number: "21942279 OPT". Seems fishy. I would not recommend taking part in the crowdfunding until this problem is discussed and solution offered by the devs. EDIT: I checked it myself. The sold tokens number is still there: 33184739 tokens sold Good, it's back. (33216673 tokens sold now)

OPUS is now working with MUSICOIN Then the two sides of the token will be exchanged with each other?
No, in my opinion, I think OPUS just is important strategic partner with MUSICOIN, and not have exchange helps trade new altcoin with altcoin Music at now. Maybe Music and Opus use platform Waves DEX, I think you can try exchange them

Music is a billion dollar industry and OPUS will capitalize on that wave of success to introduce the new blockchain technology on managing finances for artists and musicians.

it seems like a whale stepped in,300 eth invested in OPT 3 days ago the bigger so far. This ICO had a bad timing like many other ICO,however i still think Opus is really promising since there 's no decent decentralized music project running for now

~33 Mio. Tokens sold ~1,2 Mio Dollar
95% of the Token will be held by the Team. They even shortened the Bounty Pool by 10 Times.
So yeah #NoComment

I have a technical question: The whitepaper isn't very specific about how the encryption works. What Opus uses is a lightweight public-private key-encryption model to restrict access to only the “owners” of the song As I understand it: - each tune is encrypted with a single symmetric key by AES256 and the encrypted tune is stored on IPFS
- this symmetric key is distributed to each purchaser in end-to-end encrypted fashion via Ethereum smart contract, whereas the symmetric key is encrypted with the purchaser's public key for each purchaser individually
This means: - whoever knows the key and the IPFS hash can listen to the tune
- whoever purchased the tune knows the key and can potentially share it publicly
- moreover, encrypting the same key with millions of public keys will reduce the strength of the encryption (the whitepaper doesn't state if RSA or ECC key pairs will be used or how many bits they plan to use, so it's hard to quantify this flaw. 'lightweight' might mean few bits.
One way around this problem would be to end-to-end encrypt the tune for each purchaser individually. But this would mean that there is one file per purchaser that has to be stored (and one IPFS hash per tune and purchaser that has to be stored on the Ethereum blockchain). I doubt that such an amount of data can be stored economically, even with filecoin-like incentives. Another question is: who knows the tune's symmetric key and is able to encrypt it for new purchasers? Will the publisher have to run a node that does this for new customers?

I guess the good money are gathering. my friend recommended it. but my signature space is full because I wasn't interested. I've read a bit now. "I am posting this thread on behalf of the opus team and I would like to say that I do believe the product they have created and it has true potential to completely disrupt the music industry; Unlike 95% of projects on Bitcointalk, they have a working beta, a great team, and a physical office." this also shows that are realistic. they want to show the market that's been successful by entering into bitcoin.

Good question. I'd like to know as well. Another question: Can the purchase price of a song be changed after publication?
