Hi all. I think it's time some things got cleared up, especially about who the dev team actually are, what we're doing and the future of the SHDW token.

But, before I do that, I should introduce myself. I'm the "forum user" that "shadowtoken" frequently likes to refer to in a very libellous way, mostly by copy-pasting the same unsubstantiated untruths over and over. (I don't know how you do your research, buddy, but it's incredibly flawed. Do you actually believe the lies you are saying about me???)

OK, onto the important stuff now. Here is some information for Token Holders to clear up some of the confusion mostly created by this "shadowtoken" forum user being able to run wild with garbage.

1) The ShadowEra user here is the original owner of the game. He created the SHDW token to be able to sell off his game as his exit strategy after 6 years of ownership, but in such a way that the game could continue and actually flourish. How is that going so far? We'll get to that in a minute.

2) The Board of Directors are indeed all "forum users" (as "shadowtoken" likes to refer to us), but then so is everyone here. I don't know why that could even be portrayed as a bad thing. We are all real people, as shown by the Whitepaper, bringing different things to the table. It's not like we are anonymous people hiding behind a forum name to post untruths to serve an unknown agenda! That would be pretty terrible, don't you think? That kind of behaviour should probably just be ignored or blocked with a ban, I reckon ...

3) Since the Board of Directors was formed on August 1st, I've been making Chairman's Update posts on our official forum, on behalf of the Board of Directors as a whole, which also get converted into articles that you can see on the front page of shadowera.com. They represent a very clear summary of what we've achieved so far and where we are going. I am guessing most people here have not seen them or you would not be referring to SHDW as a dead coin and dead project. Lots has been happening!

4) There are no profits to be shared at the moment because we are investing our income in development to get the game back on track. When we took over, no new cards or balance changes had hit since March, making it a total of eight months so far that the game stayed exactly the same in terms of cards available to play with. There were 28 cards coded and ready for release, but they had no art, so we have been paying for that so we can release them finally. (Some of that art has been shared in our Chairman's Updates.)

5) Since the 28 cards mentioned above are part of a 67-card set, which we have announced as due for release in Q1 2018, we decided it was worth bringing out some new cards as part of our Campaign set ASAP, which have been announced and released for public play-testing over the course of the last week. Feedback from players on our forum and Facebook has been very positive. By improving the overall sentiment of the game, we will see activity and income rise further, and then it will be the right time to start investing in marketing.

Hopefully that helps to show this is not a dead project or dead coin. I have currently 9% of the tokens and intend to make them worth a lot of money. But, more importantly, I want Shadow Era to live up to its full potential and become the huge game it should be. We are on a very good trajectory for achieving that right now!

In terms of future communication, I do not intend to post here again. I just wanted to let you know there are official places for information (as covered above) and that you can contact us on the Board of Directors at any time. Personally speaking, I try to make myself very very accessible on our forum (both in public posts and private messages), in our game chat lobby and private messaging, in our group chats on Telegram, via the Facebook page (Shadow Era Official) and by email.

For those of you still holding tokens who are watching this thread, it would be really good if you could quote this post to respond to anyone looking for information.

This "ICO" only served 4 purposes:

4) Go invisible. He hides behind the identities of forum users who he calls "Board of Directors". Mainly one person actually. "Gondorian" a guy in midlife crisis who can't hold a job down and who owns, as he says, 9% of the tokens, locking him in this position.

should market cap remove this coin from the list, there is no active trade on this coin, only $ 1 volume,  I became more and more convinced, soon the shadow will become a junk coin..

So do Token Holders own 100% of Shadow Era or 60%?

A: 0%

If Token Holders are now shareholders, does that mean the present BoD can be forced out by majority of Token Holders' vote?

A: Tokenholders are not shareholders. Kyle is the board of directors and Gondorian is his puppet. As always.

The profit-sharing scheme is still paid out in Shadow Token.

A: There is no profit sharing at all.

If the value of ST falls, there will be no "profit."

A: The only one who profited was Kyle. He made around 60k (real money, taxable). Maybe he gave Gondorian some of it.

How can ST price rise if there is no demand for it?

Currently, there is no use for ST aside from giving an all-foil deck to the top 100 holders.
Why create Shadow Token at all when there's BTC and other stable altcoins you can already use to sell shares of the game? Without ST, the shareholders' payout would be in BTC or other altcoin, which is more infinitely useful as a trading currency because of the demand.

A: Why use cryptocurrency at all? Because cryptocurrencies are anonymous and not refundable. Perfect for scammers.

There is talk of a trust fund being managed. I don't understand that. Who runs that and what is it for?

A: Most likely Gondorian. Keep in mind that the whitepaper mostly consists of false and conflicting statements.

He has plans for "Shadowera ltd."

Currently, I have seen no contract legally binding Kyle to uphold his end of the bargain here. For example, if I were to buy all the Shadow Tokens on public sale, that would make me the majority token holder and supposedly, owner of the game.

A: Never. Tokens don't mean anything at all. It's made up fake currency. It was sold with promises (profit share, voting, ownership, etc.), made up numbers and lies. Nothing special for an ICO or Kyle.

But how can that be when token holders have no direct control over the BoD? It is the BoD who proposes, and the token holders just vote. And the voting system is shitty. To vote, you have to use your Shadow Tokens.

A: There has been no voting yet because it would reveal how few hold them and care. It would also be meaningless.

From my current understanding, there is no attractive reason to buy ST. Am I missing something?

If you come across "wulven game studios" from vietnam: That was his company and it doesn't exist anymore since early 2013. Which is why the game is basically dead since. He lied about this for many years but it was confirmed from someone who visited the place locally in 2013. He used third party shipping to sell physical cards and registered a temporary company in canada for his Kickstarter scam in 2013. (which contrary to what he says was not a success. cards went live very late, used placeholder art for a year, around 20 features promised never happened, etc. etc. a complete disaster, he paid himself, his sister and her husband with the money and didn't use it on the game).

Which makes This ICO particularly infuriating, because he dropped EVERY promise, wants money for that AND free work from the little community that is left.

Why do you hold when you don't see any development about this token? Many have dumped after seeing zero updates on this project.The marketing was good at the start and after ico completed nothing came up.
