Announcing BridgeCoin update 1.0.2 - HARD FORK

Due to sustained exploitation of the static 10 block difficulty retargeting, mining has effectively become unprofitable for the honest miner. Hours go without blocks which makes it impossible to transfer BridgeCoins and effectively deposit and withdraw to our decentralized exchange.

Because of this, we’re forced to issue a hard fork that will activate at block #99111, roughly 1100 blocks from now, or 3.5 days from the time of writing this post.

The patch switches to Dark Gravity Wave Difficulty algorithm with a 1 block retarget, thus fixing the above mentioned mining exploit.

We urge all users, mining pool operators and exchanges to upgrade ASAP in order to avoid disruption. All the nodes behind DEX and our seed nodes have already been upgraded.
If you are not using bridgecoin-qt client, you are not affected. If you're only using the CryptoBridge client you are not affected as well, no need to upgrade then.
Downloads and links to github source code are available at https://bridgecoin.org

Is it possible to have my email for the mining pool changed. I used an aol account an it appears that aol is blocking the emails preventing me from withdrawling  my balance.

it has been over 19 hours since I'd sent my bridgecoin to the address that said "Send your BCO to this address"

Not only has my bridgecoin not transferred over yet, but now I'm not even being given wallet addresses for BCO. When I try to check my balance there are no transactions registering and my wallet address says "unknown". My account is pepememes-z, I've just bought premium membership and would seriously appreciate some help with this. I want to test the platform, but all of these issues sending funds over are getting in the way.

I know this is not a connection issue because when I make a new account, they generate BCO deposit addresses.

Things are really starting to look good and at this point 95% of the coins have been mined.

I look forward to this taking off. Needs more community promotion though.

Any news on when profit sharing will be announced?

Hi folks,

Today I downloaded the BCO wallet from bridgecoin.org, and encrypted the wallet.  I sent my BCO from Nova to the wallet but there is no unlock wallet option in the GUI so my coins won't mature and start staking.

Please can someone point me in the right direction?  On a separate note due to the hard fork, do I have the correct wallet?

Thanks in advance,
Daz

I need BTS to buy BCO with BTC on the DEX to pay the fee?

Do I need to have BCO on the DEX or can they be in the bridgecoin wallet for profit sharing after beta  and will be staking active on both wallets?

Absolutely loving this idea, but what makes Cryptobridge stand out between all the other Dex's, currently Dex's are sprouting out of the ground like weed,
that infographic looks very good, but it could use a section where it sums all things up that could/or make it stand out from other Dex's.

greets and keep up adding new coins!
