This is getting crazy, I'm going to throw some hash at this thing to get it moving

So others can join in, which pool are you putting hashpower towards?

I put around 100Mh on CoinMiners.net for about 30 hours (ending yesterday). Some else joined in with 300Mh or so if I remember correctly during that same period, and between the two of us that next block didn't budge....

Just went with Akaipools, its sitting at around 3Gs. And the block just moved!

Are you renting hash? If you signup to miningrigrentals (my favourite so far) use this link:
https://www.miningrigrentals.com/register?ref=37823

I get a commission and then can use more hash  Smiley

Yup, rented a rig from Mining Rig Rentals on a whim to get that block (6433) moving. Nice work getting it unstuck!

Cheers I didn't actually find the stuck block, but I'm sure the extra hashrate helped. This will all be fixed with the fork, so can't wait

Great work guys and thanks. I'm at 5 confirmations, how many confirmations does it normally take?

I've just had a look at my Web wallet and the confirmations are at 5 after 3 hours - I can wait.
Sent lots more from my Windows wallet to the Web Wallet, as I think it will be less of a fuss when the fork happens; there may be some need to fiddle with the Windows wallet..I just don't know.

I had an airdropped 200 SoJ coins and I've sold them really early, I regret it now Cheesy

I think the initial airdrop is really profitable for HODLers now!

Concerning the poll, a listing on cryptopia that will cost almost $5000 isn't a priority and isnt worth it as of now.
In my opinion, coinexchange is a better option
Target some exchanges in China or Korea.
Let a little of the funds go into getting a good a graphic designer for the OP of this thread, and the website. Also think about upgrading some features of the crypto

I think Sojourn has very good prospects.

I've been using a local wallet this entire time and I'm obviously doing the sig campaign with a deposit to the same address on said local wallet.  Is this going to be an issue with the upcoming fork or can I just keep receiving whatever the dev deposits to that address and then later update to the newer fork wallet?

You will need to update to the new wallet as it will sync to a different blockchain, however all of your coins will still be stored on the same address just on the new chain.

Everything looks in order for the fork. Assuming nova exchange can do the coin swap for us, we encourage everyone to send any transactions this weekend if they wish to carry them over to the forked chain. We will be renting a large amount of hashing power to move the chain prior to the fork to ensure no transactions are left in limbo. Once everything is clear the fork will be implemented and new source/wallets/daemon will be released. The web wallet will be updated to support the fork, but it should be seamless for users and all balances will remain the same. The same should occur for nova exchange, I am just waiting on instructions from them. By monday/tuesday the fork should be live. We have an independent developer handling the web wallet transition to ensure its safety. We will also be paying out owed sig bounties for this last week, then the sig campaign will be put on hold to be replaced by a bigger and better sig campaign. Thanks everyone!

Wanna make sure to be prepared for the fork and transfer my coins to the web wallet right now, and it literally take days to do so.
I know this coin has a great future, but the price right now is a steal because of this. Dang, this has to stop.

I agree with you. The price so far is low and stable.  It's very nice that project team provided profit details on the website https://trello.com/b/TXmpERId/sojourn-profitability-model. The coin has potential to climb up.

Wait I'm confused. I've got a couple of SOJ on the win desktop wallet, does this mean I've got to transfer them to the web wallet in preparation for the fork?

I`m a little confused too but to be safe better transfer your balance to the web wallet or exchange, since the dev have stated that the transition will be automatic and balance will stay the same.

For all those confused:

You can keep your coins on NOVA, or on the web wallet or on the Desktop wallet, or in any combination of those.

There will be no problem because the addresses will be the same.

I keep them in desktop wallet. After the fork I will have to import the private keys from old desktop to new desktop wallet
