Nova has too many problems right now to bother with a coin swap.

They haven't fixed their eth tokens for almost 3 weeks now. People must be furious

They have all those ddos attacks too, they were forced to ban ip ranges.

Maybe we should go on without them for now.

Shame. I would like to buy some at this price but I won't until this whole business is done with
I'm inclined to think you may be right. We are discussing our options today and will let you guys know on the forum and slack tonight. I'll likely put a poll up for everyone so I can be sure it is what we want to do. We really can't justify delaying this much longer.

Someone just dumped 32k+ soj coins.  Shocked Hope the price will still recover.

I am envy that I did not get those 32k. Had a buy order just hours before that.

Dev, regardless this whole Nova-thing, what are the next steps? What will be released when the fork at Nova is finished?
Next step is testing our travel booking process. We outlined a limited beta that will ensure we work out the kinks in the system before going publicly available. If we decide to fork without nova then we can still do the beta test, however the entire system is dependent on knowing what a sojourn coin is worth. This means the full public service would have to wait until nova updates us on their exchange. We are in talks of an android wallet to work on in the meantime, so that may be a thing.

The fact is I'm holding the whole SOJ amount I own into my desktop wallet so I shouldn't worry about the upcoming fork right?

Spotted Tradesatoshi votes up and running again after a hiatus of several days - wonder what was up with Tradesatoshi, there search option in coin vote does not work for me.
My vote notched it up to 316.

Is Tradesatoshi really worth it? Honestly, volumes are very, very low. I'd be more than happy to boost it to #1, but do not believe that this is the right way. Im open for alternatives.

LOGO NEEDS TO BE A LIGHTER BLUE AND NO BLACK PAM TREE.  ITS A HARSH TONE.  POSSIBLY ANOTHER COLOR, MAYBE WHITE OR SOMETHING WITH CONTRASTING BACKGROUNDS TO MAKE IT POP OUT. ILL WORK ON SOMETHING  TONIGHT.

Fork has not started yet. We are waiting for novaexchange to do the fork. Please read through the thread. Meanwhile you can buy coins in nova without any problem.

Just saw this project and i can say that it has a nice future.

But the price is still low compared to the all-time high. Reading the thread, the fork is a hindrance for this progress???

Maybe I can get some SOJ coins thru this for now.  Wink

Could Nova take ages to provide an answer?

What about Cryptopia?
Is this exchange ready to update and launch its SOJ wallet (so you Dev can finally release the new desktop wallet once Nova replies)?
Is this exchange not updated yet and waiting for Nova to proceed?

My desktop QT wallet has stopped syncing. Seems like it is stuck at about 730pm est on the 11th. Is something going on or is it ok to put my coins in?

It is safe to let your coins in the desktop wallet AFAIK, the Dev has mentioned it as the best solution.

Alright, we are going ahead with the fork without nova exchange. We need everyone to withdraw their coins from nova. We are renting hashpower to clear those transactions 24 hours from now. We will then release the new files on github.  You may withdraw to either the web wallet or the desktop wallet.

Can you please communicate this messsage in all channels (Twitter, Slack, here in OP, also with change in the headline) and maybe extend the deadline to 48 hours? Better make this fully transparent for everyone Smiley

Thank you dev!! Hopefully, SOJ can be grow after that how it deserves to grow.

Hi sojouragain,

great day to you dev! Smiley

Just in case you haven't read my last message to you, I just want to announce and remind you that the Filipino translation for Sojourn is already available since August 21 at this link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2106735

I just want to know when will you release the bounty for it. Thanks for this opportunity and more power to you and to Sojourn!

P.S. here's my Soj address: SbFWqVEhFQELL1wmcVUjqvdnWXSbe5xtin

P.P.S. I've kept all my Soj in my wallet until now. I'm glad that I did despite the radical movement in Soj's price. I did because I believe in this coin. I know that this coin is a great store of value that's why I'm hodling it for a long time. Smiley

I think I have it posted everywhere now. If need be we can wait as long as we need before releasing the code, so we will ensure nova is emptied out (or as close as possible). If anybody gets left behind we can setup a coin swap. I'll be glad to have this done Smiley Hopefully we won't be without an exchange for long.
