I bought some nyc coins and decided to download the wallet for mac, while it was syncing the wallet I thought I'd send some of my nyc coins over to the wallet but didn't realise the wallet would take so long it had been a week and hadn't synced even half so I backed the wallet.data file up and tried replacing the blkindex files but it never speeded up the sync, so eventually I got it to sync on my windows computer. However when I tried to replace the wallet.dat file on the windows computer with the one I used on the mac to send the coins to, the nyc wallet wouldn't open it kept freezing on the nyc logo. Does anyone know if this can be fixed, or have I lost all the nycs I've sent!!!  Cry Cry

Can anyone please help me, thanks

If you sent the coins and it was received by the network you will have a transaction ID, you can use this to verify if the coins
where sent to the 2nd wallet. If you have the wallet files for both computers safe on a USB you will be fine, just need to figure
why the Window wallet is not working properly? Once you get it sync's on either computer, copy the wallet.dat file back to each
specific system and all will be good.

If you can get the MAC to load the client with it's original wallet.dat (even though it is not synced up), go to the console and use the dumpprivkey command on the address you send to.

You can then open the Windows client and, from the console, use importprivkey command.

Where did all the cheapies go???   Kiss

if you really want to know, check here, as there are about 60 btc worth still to get if you want

https://yobit.net/en/trade/NYC/BTC/

new york coin to the moon.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and beyond Grin

60 BTC would buy all NYC available thru 10 satoshi! Have you noticed that the BTC has been chipping away, not buying cheapies and piling on BTC. Smart money has found NYC. And they are going to make a fortune! There is very limited supply available after these cheapies get cleared out. AND THERE IS BIG, SMART MONEY IN NEW YORK!!!

Nice to see all the NYC pools loaded down with new people mining.
Things are starting to pickup and the coin payout per Mh rate is
dropping with the additional mining pressure! With coin payout
reduction and less supply price will only move upwards. If you are
not mining buy some cheap coins while you can!

Guys, this coin could take off with some small re-branding.

New logo, nicer website. Thorough roadmap. Etc.

I second this. Nyc needs a clear roadmap and some aesthetic rebranding. That's the only way to attract new investors. Right now the site reads too gimmicky and looks outdated.

Devs, this coin can be huge with the right tweaking

We already have a very clear roadmap:

ROAD MAP FOR NYC:

1. Coinomi adding NYC

2. NYC ATM's in all 5 boroughs

3. THE NEW YORK COIN CENTER opening in Manhattan

4. widescale adoption and usage of NYC

If you are interested in NYC and not yet a NYC holder,  it's a good timing to invest in NYC now and NYC will make you good fortune in the near future. Of course you are very welcomed to contribute to NYC community.

Those are actually some pretty solid upcoming steps. Good luck to the team, hopefully this will gain more momentum in the coin.

Hello could anybody try and get NYC listed on the voting page on Mercatox for free listing on Mercatox exchange?

https://mercatox.com/coins/list

I haven't figured out how to do it myself yet, but maybe somebody here knows how to do it?
It would be beneficial for NYC to get listed on more exchanges I think...

Cheers.

No shenanigans and rumor here.  "iOS Coinomi and NYC adding may be released at same time! Both are getting "any day now" response from Coinomi."
Probably, Coinomi wants to release coinomi adding NYC together with ios coinomi, while ios version needs the last further test. Just give it a little bit patience, they should come out in very early January.
