Does anyone have any tips for using Coinomi? I've opened an account and eagerly await NYC's appearance! Tips, like....moving coins from yobit to Coinomi. Am I going to have trouble getting them off yobit? I've read comments elsewhere where people have trouble doing that. I used a program called Bluestacks, normally used for video games, to get Coinomi onto a windows computer instead of an android or tablet. I used this video to walk me through it..... https://youtu.be/X6_QsXumT0QOne other question....does anyone know when Coinomi will do their next release?

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

My idea for a logo, or for the bumper sticker (I'll work on it) is....One of the current logos look a trademark infringement on the Mets logo (and the lettering....cheap). I was picturing an "NY" surrounded by a large gold "C", followed by lower case "ion".
On the bumper sticker maybe underneath could say, "The coin that never sleeps".
Also....I could make it one of those foil things that change depending on the angle you look at it. The "C" and "ion" could be gold that gleams when the angle changes and a small diamond topping the "i" that sparkles.
In other words, when the angle changes you'd just see the word "Coin" in shiny gold foil letters, with the diamond sparkling above the "i". Making it obvious and stand out that it's cryptocurrency.

Hi ihavenoname, Great idea of NYC bumper sticker and logo !! I am thinking of attaching NYC sticker/logo on the frame of License Plates, or we can custom-make NYC logo frames of License Plates. For the Coinomi wallet , actually it is easy to use. Now is b3. You may refer to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yrn8LYerOd4&t=160s

Hi bro, you can just ignore this message, it will not affect your coins and the wallet function. Just take it as "normal". This alert message will be fixed soon in next wallet update. For more info about this alert you might check the previous posts that mentioned this, too.

Does any one think it would be a good idea to implement this with the Taxis and uber drivers as a way of tipping them. All they need is a small QR code and a small logo. Just a though. It could get wide spread easily. The coinomi app would make this easy.

Edit, sorry, missed the part where you were just talking about tipping. Perhaps that would be easier to slip past the powers that be, though it might still run afoul of centralized company rules. Taxis are pretty regulated in NYC. And taxi alternatives are pretty centralized through their respective apps/megacorps. Either is gettable in theory, but you'd have to convince large companies, not individual drivers, so probably not until there are NYC ATMs all over the city. On the other hand, I could kind of imagine NY Coin giving rise to a decentralized competitor a la uber/lyft. Imagine a version of the NYC wallet that has two modes, rider and driver, and lets riders send their coordinates to drivers to hail them. In theory, an NY Coin enthusiast might create such a platform without even trying to get a percentage fee from it, leaving profits entirely to the drivers for the purpose of increasing the value of their own NY Coin hodlings. As long as the app had a robust review system for drivers, you wouldn't even need a company to vet. Non-payment could be prevented by automating fares so once the driver picks you up, you agree in the app to pay a particular fare and the driver starts driving after the in app meter syncs up. Distance is measured by gps, time by a time server, price for both are displayed on the fare screen before accepting fare. Freelance drivers might really dig such a system to avoid the unfair policies of companies like uber. A future NY Coin foundation might make something like that if no individual were up to it. I'd probably donate to that cause, but probably only after ATMs were in place. If cars were driving around New York City with the NY Coin logo on them, the advertising value of that to the network would be off the charts.

Keep it up guys. The more real-world usage and interaction that involves NYC, the better. This is what we ultimately want.
I look forward to the day I visit New York City and I can use NY Coin

Does anyone know how to contact maintainers of nyc.mypool.club? I tried to contact them using pool's Help -> Contact page but it refuses to work with the error being something like "cannot send email". I get the same error when I try to reset my PIN which is preventing me from collecting my earnings so I had to stop mining on the pool until it is resolved. Is @JORKpr user the maintainer or who and how should I contact?
Thank you for help.

You have a good idea that NYC can be used as a way to make small payments, but in the future the cash may be completely replaced by cryptocurrency, which has its own unique advantages.

Make sure no one steals it, lol. https://youtu.be/RKMNPQ35OUc?t=6I have other ideas too....I'm pretty good with slogans and marketing ideas. If I lose track of these sites I'll always keep an eye out for an NYC store in the city and stop by. Keep in mind with License Plates that the frame can't cover the "passenger" or "commercial" tag under the plate number. Most plate frames cover those and in Manhattan cops love giving tickets out for that, especially on commercial vehicles. In the meantime, when I have time, I'm going to look into what it would cost to have a bumper sticker like I described printed up. The term I was looking for in describing the sticker was a "Hologram". As a car approached or faded back the image would change.
