There are many 'regional' names which are held by people worldwide and many new ones such as BZL, EALP, Lira.  Some come and some go.  Law of the Jungle.  But there are many such as I who currently live elsewhere & still call New York home.  How many ex-pats?  Several million I would expect.  Also the attraction to tourist will be a major part to both the use & spreading of NYC, so forget rubbishing the name.  NYC is a GREAT name & I hope is here to stay. 

Also, before criticizing the community working on the improvement of NYC, stop & consider how this small group has put the time and effort into the coin with some rather amazing results in such a short time. There is a long way to go, but the enthusiasm will continue and visible results will happen.  If you can contribute to the growth of the coin visit the Discord meetings and listen in.  There is plenty to do & 'boots on the ground' would be I am sure appreciated.

Just ignore the message.  A bug/part of this old wallet.   If using windows just disable the sidebar alert for the wallet if it keeps popping up.  A Dev I understand is working on a new one.  Also you can move your coins to Coinomi if you wish.

150 BILLION NYC, cap?. CS=135Bill. to supply the needs of 10 million New Yorkers, original dev went for a reasonable but still very high 10 billion ...................ratio.

Why don't you get real and reduce coin supply to under 1 billion, which is still way to high. I have billions of this and and held in the hope one day some serious dev would bring about the changes needed. I do appreciate you bringing this coin back from the dead, but you need to rethink the supply dude, or we will always see one-two sats range.  my two cents. please reduce my billions so i can see what little i would have left could be worth something.
