As for me, OMG is one of the strongest and most promising coin. This is unique and popular project that I like. But it seems to me that we can't expect a quick profit here. Especially during a falling market.

I agree and OMG has been doing good lately even under this bad market conditions. That gives high hopes for the future.

Yes, OmiesGo is a reliable cryptocurrency. I remember the moment when I bought it for$ 10 and its value then increased by 3 or 4 times. a little on it but I picked it up.

I bought some OMG in mid December and bought some more when everything dropped in mid Jan. This is a long term hodl. Great team behind it. 2018 is going to be a great year for Omisego.

Hope it will happen. Remember that, many projects have great plans for this new year. But don't know which ones will succeed.
You dont have to hesitance, OmiseGo will be an successful project, there are many thing do we believe this:
Team: Forbes magazine recognized OmiseGo development team is Fintech Rockstars. OmiseGo also have an super advisors team includes: Joseph Poon (Lightning Network Co-Author), Vialik Buterin (Founder of Ethereum), Julian Zawistowki (Founder and CEO of Golem), Roger Ver (CEO of Bitcoin.com)..... with this advisors team OmiseGO will be a big coin in the future.

Partner: Ayudhya Bank invested in OmiseGO $30 millions (Ayudhya ispart of Japan's largest financial group Mitsubishi UFJ which is holding $2,400 billions), Banking Corporation (SMBC), Credit Saison, the third largest credit card company in Japan.

The price of OmiseGO now is cheap, i believe that its price will soon reach $100.

This is a very good and promising coin. I'm very glad I invested in that coin. As at the time of this post, it is listed on number 21 on cmc. It's unfortunate I didn't have much of it. All the same, I'm happy with the little I have and I planned holding it for a long time.

Omissego is still a long way to go. But for those who will reap patience with rewards. remember that this whole market is very young, it takes a couple of months to a couple of years for these kryptons to turn into full-fledged markets.

OmiseGO and MakerDAO are forming an alliance in our crusade for decentralized finance.

OMG’s currency-agnostic decentralized exchange will allow users the freedom to exchange and manage any digitized asset. However, the volatility of many cryptocurrencies makes them less than ideal as a medium for everyday transactions, in which users want to know that the money they are sending will be worth the same amount when it arrives at its destination.

Stablecoins provide a relatively static benchmark (as static as the currency to which they are pegged) within the volatility of the crypto market. But most stablecoins are centralized, backed by reserves held by private entities whose self-assessment of their own trustworthiness often leaves much to be desired.

Dai, on the other hand, is decentralized, its issuance and value transparently linked to assets held in smart contracts — a system that is better aligned with OMG both philosophically and functionally.

The market can continue to recover for a very long time. As you can see - now all the coins are falling. There is no difference whether a good project or not very good. I think that the coin will begin to grow only when bitcoin begins to grow.

Some people that I hold high have tremendous trust in OmiseGo. Investment or Return on Investment-wise however, I think it has made its gains already. I don't really see a x10 here.

I don't think you understand how much volume is projected to go through this platform (and obviously more future adoption down the line over the years), and the value that would bring to staking OMG.  This thing still has tremendous upside long term, and by tremendous, I mean waaaay past 10x.

The price action of Omisego has gone parabolic in the last hour of trading.

This article looks into the most recent positive developments for Omisego: https://coinlive.io/analysis/omisego-what-happened-analysis-of-the-pump-in-value

Any other insights on what caused the pump?
