I never keep long on a wallet that is often used to exchange tokens using etherdelta. but a few moments I tried trading on etherdelta and it was safe and successful. the important thing is you do not forget to forgeten account after you finish trading

Hello,
I wanted to try etherdelta to trade my tokens.
Can i trust etherdelta with my Private keys ?
I think an EtherDelta exchange site is certainly very secure with a private key we have even I often do an exchange of tokens that I get from a Bounty campaign this I often do if I'm in a pressing state and need money for my needs it's just possible a process that is quite old and usually will happen a pending and it does not last long. and apart from a security owned by it EtherDelta I think it's just up to you so I mean the most important thing is you have to save your personal key code to open your EtherDelta site so no one else knows about personal key code EtherDelta that you have. Because I think most people who get hacked on the EtherDelta site they have it because of a carelessness they do by not storing the code from their private key so that of course this will be able to make others know the code from the private key they have and of course it will make others very easy to always monitor the tokens they have stored at the EtherDelta exchange site. So I think keep it very secret and of course only you who know the code of the private key to open your EtherDelta exchange site you have.

Make an additional wallet to use it only at EtherDelta. You will lose a little for transaction fees, but your main wallet and funds will be in safe.

This is how I work and I think this is the safest way to avoid any kind of misuse. If someone want to abuses and private key then I would lose only small part that I intended for trading on EtherDelta exchange. The main wallet will remain safe.

ED robbed me out of .6 ETH yesterday. I sold some tokens and then had to run and left the ETH in the ED address instead of withdrawing back to my personal address. Today I found that all of the transaction history is there but they jacked my .6 ETH from the sale.
All - be very careful to never leave eth or tokens in the ED address and always withdraw.
Yeah that's why storing your coins in any exchanges aren't safe so after you done trading in etherdelta, withdraw your coins and click the forget account in the upper right corner. Don't leave any information like address and private keys in etherdelta or else even your coins will loss. I've been using it since then and didn't encounter major headache.

You should never trust anyone or any third party with your private keys. They're called private keys for a reason.

Ether delta is the trading platform of myetherwallet. So you may trust on ether delta for entering private key. I am also using ether delta. One thing always remember always use private browsing.
I have been using Etherdelta for a while now and I understand why most people are always skeptical about inputting their private keys on the site, since it is something not to toy with. However, it is a decentralized exchange and it is very much expected. The most important thing like you have said is to make sure one adhere properly to security and make sure that you are exactly on the official site before you end up typing your private key into a cloned site.

ED isn't a bad trading site as people paint it. Some people's private key was exposed by clicking on phishing scam not ED exposing their key

Etherdelta is a true dAPP: it's a web based front end running a smart contract. So to the extent that you can trust your private keys to anyone, it's them. On the downside, it makes for a somewhat complicated and user-unfriendly system... just an unfortunate necessity of first generation dAPPs.

I don't think etherdelta would exploit our priva keys, but some hackers or other bad people can find a bug on the system and steal the tokens you have. This is the worrying thing of etherdelta. Anyway, if you trust etherdelta, type your private key without worries.

Hello,
I wanted to try etherdelta to trade my tokens.
Can i trust etherdelta with my Private keys ?
Majority of the community here in this industry don't trust in this exchange site platform, because this is the only exchange platform asking your private key and ethh address before you can able to use their platform, where other platform is not asking this but you can used their exchange site to trade in.

Very High Risky to released private key. if wallet ID is not enough. I think is better to work with organization, to avoid stories.

Cause for our time now it is hard to trust the site so make sure that this is real etherdelta.

You can but still, do it for your own risk. Etherdelta is a decentralized trading site and it is somehow more vulnerable to hacks compared to a more secure, and more advanced trading sites like bitrex and poloniex. But so far in trading tokens especially from airdrops, I haven't experienced any problems on etherdelta.

Its a decentralized exchange, so they don't hold your private keys as transactions are done on your web browser (or something of this sort...). I've used them a couple if times and I've not experienced any problems whatsoever.
