The attacker can:Reverse transactions that he sends while he's in control. This has the potential to double-spend transactions that previously had already been seen in the block chain. Prevent some or all transactions from gaining any confirmations Prevent some or all other miners from mining any valid blocks The attacker can't:Reverse other people's transactions Prevent transactions from being sent at all (they'll show as 0/unconfirmed) Change the number of coins generated per block Create coins out of thin air Send coins that never belonged to him There is not a possibility to "steal" confirmed blocks from a wallet. There has to be something else... Or maybe I misunderstand it.

With a coin with this low a difficulty( and this new), you can basically steal coins by resetting the block chain and mining faster than everyone, this sets everyone's balance to 0 except for you.

How does one go about resetting the block chain? With a 51% attack? (I'm still a nub in this area)

I know this coin is bad and i shouldn't waste any time on it, but i think it's a great practice for my ubuntu skills.
So I compiled it and I have the gamecoind. It works fine. But I would like to have the qt! When i do (sudo) qmake and make it gives me this:
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
Can someone help this noob?

Why do every coin need to be on an exchange? All i want is to get some coins that i can spend on games, without feeling that i lost my months rent..
I think that is a pretty cool idea but you should have put alot more work into. And atleast explain it well enough in OP

I sincerely hope this coin is being 51% attacked by the community and that these LTC clones will no longer be tolerated.
