Hello everybody, I am Alexey from Israel.

It's an honor for me to be one of Israeli's bitcoin society, currently I am involved in some projects of bitcoin.

I am a serial entrepreneur with  some $$ of angels and VCs, invested in companies founded by me (some were a success story).

bitcointalk is a great place for knowledge, meeting new people, exchange the ideas etc.

Best regards to all.

it's against the t&c to use pay pal to buy/sell bitcoin anyway.

You should start your own thread though.

Yeah, we'll see.

I have not seen any Paypal tos, that actually forbids e-currencies or bitcoin, only threads. My research could be too narrow, though. Received a positive e-mail from paypal about selling btc, even though they cannot guarantee anything.

But yeah, separate thread in the future. I need to adjust a few things anyways.

I've been buying BTC from ebay and paying with paypal for months no issues. I've also been using virwox to buy BTC with Paypal for months no issues...

I'm a professional developer, with over 10 years of dev experience.  I have an MBA from a top 10 US business school and have launched multiple start ups. I'm evaluating opportunities in the crypto currency space and am here to learn from the other posters.

I'm currently looking at building a crypto company funding/trading web site, similar to one that I know of that is operating now.  But I believe I could do a lot better, and help many small companies reach an investing audience.

Appreciate any feedback or ideas you have for this space.

My feedback is we need a trading company that is fully licensed in the US. That would be awesome.

I am an experienced developer, and I can help you with your bitcoin software projects:- Grin

I am currently working on a project to parallelize bitcoin mining, which in my book should prove being several factors faster than current mining technologies.

Good idea, I can help build you a trading platform. Or do you already have one in mind, that can be adapted to fit the bill?

I am interested in working on a remittance network that transfers fiat from client to client whilst using bitcoins in the back office to settle trades. OF course, you can't have a network with only one person in it. If is interested in joining, PM me.

On a related note, I am also interested in using bitcoins to help small businesses trade internationally.

I'm a php developer with years of experience and have started focusing my attention on building a web interface (php) directly to the bitcoind daemon. I understand that I'm just one of many such projects but I've taken the approach that simpler is better. A small CURL function that makes the json call to bitcoind and php decodes the response.

You are welcome to look at a beta HTML5 RPC Console that I've put up for demo purposes. Don't know if anyone will find it useful but it's there to play with. Here's the link: phpBitAdmin

It's about 75% complete with the most difficult commands incorporated soon. It's running on testnet so spending or moving around btc's won't do anyone any harm. Thanks.
