Hi,
I've created a simple pool monitoring Android app to keep tabs on mining activities based on the pool API. It's a free ad-supported app.  It supports adding multiple (supported) sites. It is currently limited to most of the cryptocoins sites with the generic simple API like the BigVern pools, including:LiteBonk.com, Mincoinpool.com, CHNPool.com, FCPool.com, WeMineLTC.com

I may add support for more pool APIs depending on success/requests (incl. BTC pools).

Download Coin Pool Monitor from Google Play: Edit: link removed [newbie alert!]

Cheers
Dr W

I'm just starting out as a semi-professional photographer and I'm interested in the idea of selling some of my pictures for bitcoins. What sort of resources will I need to make that happen both for online sales and real world person-to-person sales? Also considering the volatility of bitcoin value, how can I ensure that I am not cheating my customers or myself on a day-to-day basis?

I am new to this site and since im restricted from posting anywhere else I am starting here. I apologize if this isn't the proper spot to post this type of post, I just couldn't find anywhere else this should go My name is James I have been using Btc for 4 yrs now and ive come up since ive started....but..... I quickly realized the only way to get things rolling was to was going to be buying, selling, and trading in this btc. Sooo I listened to the community and without saying or asking much I came up with an idea to help us out.

I just recently created a website called Sellforbtc.com ,its a classified site for the bitcoin community. Its free to sign up, its free to post your classified, and free to search for other classifieds. I designed this with (you and I), the people of the btc community in mind trying to make it easier for us to buy and sell with bitcoin.

I am very interested in making this site better and more suitable for the user and try to fulfill there needs, so if you have an idea for the site to better suit your needs (and those of the bitcoin community) feel free to drop me an email at Btcdealer@sellforbtc.com and I will be happy to review your email and give it some thought.

thank you guys for allowing this introduction and I look forward to working and chatting you in the furture.

                                                                               James

Hi there I run a hosting company. http://servqc.net we started accepting bitcoin a little while back.  We support django which is a widely used python web based application.  We also have vps's and normal php/mysql web hosting at great prices.  Our support staff is friendly and knowledgeable and are always happy to help.  We also do server administration and application installations (setting up pools and such).  Feel free to contact me through here or the website anytime if anyone has any questions or projects they would like to discuss. I'm also available on skype.  We are located in Canada and support many Canadian based businesses.  Thanks for your support.

I run a digital game store Gameolith (https://www.gameolith.com/) -- we've just started accepting Bitcoins and I'd like to chat about it on here  Cool

Nice! I am working on a project with a friend that is an online pay-to-play for Bitcoin arcade. Keep spreading the word about Bitcoin!

I run a guitar lesson business called AKG Guitar Lessons.  Here, I teach my students the music they want to learn at their own rate via Skype or Google Talk. If you're interested, rates are starting at just .14 btc a lesson, and if you sign up two of your friends I will give you your next lesson for free.

You can check me out at www.akgguitar.com.

PS: Payments can be done via escrow and I also accept litecoins.

If your account represents a Bitcoin business or you are a developer, please post here so we can get you into the forum beyond. State your company, project in addition to what you wish to do on the forums. We will get you whitelisted promptly.

Godspeed in your endeavors and thank you for your service!

I'm slinging code back and forth and pondering opportunities.  Also using bitcoins.  Not quite a developer yet, but inches away.  Smiley
