The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

the 4 step offer no protection to the seller as he only handle step 2. the interesting part is when something is wrong, that is in fact why you use escrow. pease make the fak and how it work link work with explanation. at this level of detail I run away!

Out of curiosity, has there been a Kickstarter clone that deals exclusively in cryptocoins yet?
I'd get behind that.

I haven't had any forum members test it yet, but I'm working very closely with my developer to get a few small tweaks implemented to the code before I start a beta test thread.

Would be great service...

Yes its based on the open source code from bitescrow.org which is translated from the casascius escrow utility tool and escrow scheme draft. I will do a beta release on the forums first before launching, and for security we won't be holding any bitcoins on hand or on the server.

Thanks Im hoping so Smiley the bitcoin community and ecosystem in general would benefit from an easy to use service like this for escrow transactions.

I would think it provides much more protection than there currently is for both parties involved, and we are working on a system to handle disputes efficiently. Absolutely we will make the faq and how it works links active with lots of explanation it's important that the process is easily understandable for many people. It's one of my goals.

I run and own http://bitvisit.com

Bitvisit offers a fun way to earn bitcoins by viewing other websites.

In addition advertisers can advertise very inexpensively to an audience that has a BitCoin Wallet.

I also am available for custom php programming and development online for companies who wish to accept bitcoins.

I just started the research, but does anyone know of any catalogs or stores (revision control systems) that sell or other present a listing bitcoin programs, scripts, and systems?

I'd very interested in starting one for 3rd party developers, sellers, and resellers.

I appreciate you guys time.

Thanks,

Bitcoin Dr
