I'm working on a trading bot platform purely in JS (Node/HTML5). I've become a JS fanboi lately.

Also, as more of a social thing than a business, I just started a decent 32-slot Team Fortress 2 server for TF2 players that want a common place to duel each other for their hard-earned bitcoins. Right now players transact by hand, but I think I can tie the bot in eventually and add some sort of automated escrow service in-game.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

My wife is in the midst of launching her company that sells educational toys for children, their flagship product is a quiet book for ages 2-4, when they launch they will be accepting bitcoin. The company is called Wuka. Check it out on facebook.

I hope you will have a lot of customers buying toys with bitcoins Smiley

it is hard to find a good bitcoin c2c or b2c marketplace platform, the only option is to promote your own store. Good Luck!

Hey everyone,

I'm starting a hosted mining business: http://signup.hostedcoinmining.com/

Hopefully there is interest in this (and judging from the conversion rate on that landing page so far, there is) and I intend to provide updates about it here in the forum, as well as collect feedback from the community.

The software is still in development but I intend to post a demo video soon.

I manufacture Mining boards, thus far with Bitfury chips. Will be looking to to add Bitmain and Bitmine to that. Keen to hear from PCB designers who may have interest in designing boards with current and emerging chip techs, to produce and distribute new products.

I'm a writer and traveler looking for a web developer to contract for help with a project centered around the exchange of adventure travel/backpacking information for bitcoin directly between the writers and consumers. If anyone is interested the first stage of this project is a simple webpage that I will use to gauge interest in the bitcoin and travel communities of the web. I can pay in BTC, PM me!

I made my first post here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=400700.0

I would like help figuring out which is the best section to post it under (mining/pools I presume) and would also like help in being cleared to post in that section, or to move the message to that section, whatever seems best.

Thanks,
Henry Zephyr

Hi everyone. Long time lurker, first time poster.

A few friends and I are consultants, programmers, network and system administrators in the United States and operate under the brand Crop Circle Systems, Inc. http://ccsys.com

I'm a proponent of FreeBSD (mostly) as well as NetBSD, OpenBSD, Gentoo Linux and the Genode OS Framework.

We develop system administration solutions around FreeBSD, ZFS, DTrace and VirtualBox.

We develop networking solutions around NetBSD and OpenBSD.

We release a [currently] FreeBSD 9.2 based distro called nuOS. It is quite vanilla FreeBSD with whip cream and a cherry on top. Smiley We don't take anything away or impose our way of doing things if you already like FreeBSD the way it is. Advanced users can enjoy our a la carte features while users less experienced with FreeBSD will be guided effectively without being mesmerized by "black magic". If you looked at FreeBSD before and found it daunting or too much work to deploy using its modern features we might help you fall in love with your OS all over again. Smiley http://nuos.org https://github.com/CropCircleSys/nuOS

We develop applications around HTML5, AngularJS, Node.js, Erlang, Redis and MongoDB among other favorites like PostgreSQL. Upon those we are building a full-stack application framework currently called BreakNeck (working title) vertically integrated all the way from your users' tantalized senses on down through the system framework we've built with nuOS. Your native apps are welcomed to tie in replacing HTML5 and AngularJS while sharing everything below, though if you come to us for that, we currently outsource Mac OS X, MS Windows, iOS and Android development (and are always interested in connecting with more of those developers). I'm honing my chops with Qt5 as of late as well but I'm not a pro with it yet.

We are working on a platform as a service for [self-]managed hosting called CargoBay. https://cargobay.net

The difference with CargoBay is, because the entire nuOS and BreakNeck platforms (minus multitenancy and billing) are available as open source for your use at your own shop, it's made completely hassle-free to migrate in either direction. Hybrid deployments will also be a breeze and seamless. (That's what we tell investors at least.) Cheesy Seriously though, that should be relatively painless for you to engineer your own hybrid solutions specific to your needs with our tools and services. As you grow or change your mind about configuration you should not be made to rue the earlier decisions you've made and extorted for them. nuOS's features make experimentation fun again and BreakNeck's features will take the guesswork out of production-ready web-scale stable hardened implementations and deployments.

We hear a lot of clients of Crop Circle Systems' complain that "cloud" service/platform/hosting providers seem to try and lock you in, more so the easier they try to be to use/manage. The "addiction" factor rather than the satisfaction factor is not a good way to do business, in our opinions. We could be wrong but I think our approach will have more long term sustainability for our customer, ourselves and the relationship between us. We don't concede that ease-of-use must sacrifice control, capability or options.

The idea with CargoBay is it's so easy to leave, and effectively welcoming to work under the hood with your own tools or ours, that you'll decide to stay or recommend it to others even if you were to outgrow us (to a nuOS/BreakNeck deployment in-house or at one of our 800-lb-gorilla competitors strategic partners). Our platform is engineered to play well with others. (We have to, being a pygmy marmoset, to complete the analogy. Cheesy) Hopefully we grow to fulfill the vast majority of our customers' needs.

Whether you are interested in services or informing us of your availability and skill-set in order to network and partner, consider reaching out to us through our profile here or our web sites. We are based in downtown Tampa, Florida and just ramping up currently. Early adopters will be rewarded with our starving-artist pricing and have their development/deployment needs catered to early.

Team of 3 here based in Sydney and Perth. We have been working on a new exchange with low fees, ability to pay with CC to buy coins, high security, fast transaction time. Looking to launch in 2-3 months time. We see that there is a lack of professionalism in the world of BTC/alt-coin exchanges, especially in the support department. Thought I would just post here to ask what the people want. Will post more information closer to date of launch. Looking to the community to give you what you want.

Background;
Chris O'Shea
Bach Business in e-commerce and Marketing.

Mathew Waddell
Bach Business, 10 years background in customer support.
Vast knowlege of languages.

P.Taylor
Web developer.
Has worked for numerous banks and built some of the most state of the art trading platforms for the like.

Hi Chris, greetings from Perth  Smiley What you are trying to achieve is great and certainly needed. I've no real financial experience, but the only hurdle I can see is getting around the "charge back" problem that some fraudulent operators will no doubt look to exploit. If you can circumvent this, then the sky will be the limit for you guys.
All the best,
Buskcoin

Hey,

My brother and I recently started designing paper wallets using our handmade paper. We offer a 10% discount if you pay with bitcoin. Our latest design is an origami piggy bank with the private keys folded inside. (Bankin Bits)

We love doing this and plan to keep creating new designs and gathering feedback. Let's get started!

Cheers!

Feedback: I think it's brilliant, very creative. Good way to give away bitcoins to family and friends?

Hello fellow bitcoiners,

We recently launched https://www.coinsupermart.com - a Bitcoin services company in Singapore.

It currently operates as an exchange for locals to buy and sell coins. We plan to provide payment services to local merchants and users in the near future.

Look out for us Smiley

I recently launched a site to keep track of faucets for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies at Cryptocoin Faucets.

I'm also a web developer interested in working on some bitcoin related projects.
