what paperwork was included ? a CE certification document? what about the invoice?

Invoice in batch#3 is valued in btc, $ value is hand written next to it. Expect problems at customs.

well the value in $ is declared officially in DHL document thus this is not much of a problem. the real problem is the CE.
i wonder about batch #2 avalons though. Were there any problems with CE?

I wish we could organise group lawsuit. If all batch #3 customers wish to throw few btc for that we could afford very nice and effective lawyer.
This would be only rational way of dealing with Bitsyncom, any only hope for partial refund of bitcoins that they have mined with our equipment.

If this week pass without a positive result, I would suggest to talk with this law firm http://www.coindesk.com/us-law-firm-nesenoff-miltenberg-accepts-payment-in-bitcoin/. As far as I know it's possible in US that a group of people can start together a law suit. So customers could organize and these law firm could take up that case. They could be even personally interested in such a case as this would bring some publicity. Besides this it would be a signal for the whole industry to take care of customers and regulations. We even could pay the law firm with Bitcoins, so customers all over the wold can participate without big problems.

Yes DHL.  No paperwork included other than the invoice.  No CE.

Isn't CE only required if a power plug is included? These are just electronic spare parts...

Also, I see now that mine read $1500 for the customs declaration because there were three of them and only one invoice.  If you ordered only one, it should read $500 like Tyger's.

I do not believe anyone has been shipped a 4 board unit yet and would like to know when they ship them.

I think that they have power problems with the 4 module Avalon. Did you see the photo with the upgrade design? 1 Power connector for 2 moduls wont work! The pins cant handle 400 watt. Iam pretty sure that their avalon got melted and that they had to change that.

A scammer tag wouldn't hurt them, you have to go after their cash and for this you would need to involve a legal entity. I'm really curious if their business practice are conform with US law. Selling products under wrong promises (ROI prediction), sending out products as samples even they aren't. Import products without needed certifications, let customers abroad pay in foreign currency to private bank accounts (chinese customers could pay in RMB to an chinese account). Using customer products for own profit before delivery,.... Is all that really legal in US? The list could be even more extended, could be worth to let an attorney look into this case, all this points looking suspicious to me.

I guarantee if they keep delaying and not delivering more batch 1/2/3 machines and chip orders, there will definitely be some people filing lawsuits against them (me included if they keep delaying or just ignore me and never ship my equipment.) There are several lawsuits forming for BFL customers that I've heard of, Avalon's day is coming too if they don't get their stuff straightened out. I believe Avalon is a USA registered company by Bitsyncom, so it is certainly under the jurisdiction of US courts.

CoinHoarder is correct.  Avalon can be sued for evidence of economic loss and false advertisement.   A class action lawsuit can be put in place as well.  On a criminal standpoint, Avalon can be prosecuted for money laundering in the U.S.

I've been extremely patient.  I am consulting legal action now with my counsel.
