I suspect that you are correct that they were not shipped Monday, but nonetheless, you have inference, not evidence.

Im not a native english speaker. But you understood what I meant.

I apologize.  My criticism was not fair to someone who is not a native speaker.

I try to be respectful and informed.

Lack of evidence of shipping is evidence in this case that Avalon's are not shipping.  With that said, it is not proof that they are not shipping.
Trend and past behavior seems to indicate they are having issues and they are not shipping.

Well if you asked for a refund all you got was a status changed to refunded and no coins. So maybe you will at least get a few coins back.
Not so. I received a full refund.

What is the input address?

You can see all the details of it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=257748.msg2750933#msg2750933

Lol, I love how you can always just jump to the worst possible conclusion Tongue Kinda sad really.

I suppose for people who asked for a refund, it makes sense for Bitsyncom to immediately begin mining with those machines, as their cost is probably less than $2k, and thus they can achieve ROI in a matter of days. And that's their prerogative, and more power to 'em.

But I doubt they're actually mining with machines they intend to ship, save a short burn-in period to guarantee it boots up and heats up without issues.

we discussed batch3 price for a long time.

personally, i do think this is a reasonable price.

batch#1: 1300USD + your trust,  batch#2: 1500USD + your trust, batch#3 = ?

why batch 1 and batch2 customers will enjoy such a low USD price and extremly high profit? because they put their valuable trust on us.

last September, most of you think we have little chance to win, or could be a crappy scam, you don't buy.

this January, considerable people think we take Jeff down or just spent 400K to make a prototype, you don't buy.

now, everything on track, machines delivered to your hands are only a matter of time. you want to buy them at a same price or something like 2000USD.

OK, please tell me, what is the price of people most valuable things "trust" should be? 500USD? no, 5000USD at least.

as a core developer, i look upon all Avalons as my son. i will send them to who believe us, not the faithless or buzzard.

could any one tell me, how to give a non-exist tracking number to our customers?

first, we send the packages to HK-DHL agent.

agent transport them to HK, a few days time.

packages picked up at HK.

after about 1 week, they will give us the tracking number if we ask for.

to most country, 1 week time is enough for a delivery.

if anything goes wrong, like custom issues happened or wrong tel number or something , our agent will call us, give us the tracking number, let us contect with our customer. i think multiple people get my email when they having custom issues or DHL can not find you.

why we use such a screwed work flow?

1, save shipment cost.
2, if we go to DHL directly, they didn't accept this device, there is PSU and FANs in it, which is contraband. only these agent can send them out by doing some bribery work. if we tell them we are not satisfied, they simply ask us to deal with DHL ourself instead.

fuck

Absolutely not. Yifu attend a meeting in Macau these days, about BTC environment and economy, no direct relation with Avalon project.

when he is having a big dinner on that table,  Avalon team is at Beijing, China, working hard and eating instant noodles.

Gridchip's original post is not here, and it's all chinese.
Based on Gridchip's post:
  • Gridchip designed the 110nm chip for Avalon.
  • Now,Gridchip is working on 40nm chip,so there is no 40nm chip now.
  • And Gridchip want to do the sell (40nm chip) directly, not with Avalon any more.
  • Gridchip post those picture to prove what he said.
  • There MAYBE some delay because TSMC is busy, just MAYBE.
  • And the 40nm chip hash rate will be 2-2.5G

---------------------------------
Chip basic specifications:
Process: TSMC 40G
Performance single-chip Hash: 2G ~ 2.5G

Chip business model:
1, selling mining machine
2, selling chips

ASIC Team:
The team in September 2012 initiated a TSMC 110nm of BTC ASIC chip, the chip mass production success in early 2013
The 110nm ASIC chip is the industry's first mass production of the BTC ASIC chip, the chip ASIC mining machine has done a lot of shipping.
At present, the actual chip shipments of the industry's first home, the force generated by the chip count is the industry's first (and the recent 2 ~ 3 months will also return rising rapidly).

Team Features:
Technical and pragmatic, the chip is not greedy, not the pursuit of gimmicks
The chip can guarantee the delivery time and delivery quantity

BTW: We are not to judge others ASIC team, each team has its own technology roadmap and business models, and nothing more.

the 1st million is the hardest...
Avalon team:
ngzhang is the engineer and leader of the production, while Yifu is PR/handling of sales.
Gridchip is the chip designer (not a full custom ASIC, not a hardcopy)

So maybe ngzhang decided to fuck (his last words here) Yifu & Gridchip and decided to mine the shit out of its "sons". maybe he did it because he knew that they ARE delays @ TSMC. Or because Yifu "is not doing it for the money". Or just plain greed.

Meanwhile Avalon Reference Documentation, Bill of Materials, Chip Communication etc gets released for everyone. Genius move.

Still they(ngzhang, yifu, obviously not gridchip, other members of ngzhang's team?) are mining with customers machines... and KnCminer creating a better chip?

Seeing this gridchip goes out there looking for new distributors for a new chip. Nothing for him at Avalon anymore.

Basically they used international funds to finance chips and they are being sent first to local chinese mining operations(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=229795.0).

Everything could have went fine except (1) delays everywhere because of primary delays by TSMC (2) Greed (3) KnCminer's price.

So the chips are now being sent first to chinese buyers and batch 3 refunded.

Here is me hoping they will be quick to send chips to international customer. Pictures of them everywhere.

We know that they are shipping issues with international orders too.

This is how I read this Avalon story.

Looks like they wanted to make it a surprise (or they were just to lazy to send out the tracking numbers).

Customs said it could be even delivered on Monday. If you have early order try to call your DHL and ask if there is any package for you.
