Having problems with customs (price displayed in BTC only). Customs need to know the real price in USD. How do you get invoice in USD from avalon? Which email should te to in order to get in touch with them? I can fake the invoice, but do not know what amount in USD is next to BTC price. Can anyone help what was the price for 65 Gh/s and 1x 85Gh/s unit withou PSU?
How many watts consume 65 Gh/s and how many 85 Gh/s unit? What PSU do you recomend?
Dan
Can you not show a BTC/USD value at time of order, and a print off of the product page from their website with it's BTC price and pay accordingly?

DHL says my two 4 module Avalons will be here tomorrow. I got two OCZ ZX1250s waiting patiently to be fired up. Pretty sure they won't fit in the case, but I will just run the cables through the port where the PSU normally sits and set the psu beside it. No biggy.

Sunday, August 04, 2013 Service Area Time 1 Shipment information received BEIJING & SURROUNDING AREA - CHINA, PEOPLES REPUBLIC 16:43 That typically means Avalon entered the shipping information electronically to DHL, but haven't actually dropped the package off yet or have it picked up by DHL yet.

I hear that there is a photograph of the actual invoice avalon are sending somewhere in the forum but can't find it. It is for a different than the actual price(i've heard 500$ + 80$ shipping but it was for a 3unit batch2). To release it from the customs you should show print that you paid the same amount that is on the invoice the customs recieved. So please someone with 4unit batch3 without PSU ,tell us what was on your invoice when you recieved it.Or any other information regarding this.

Finally arrived and I'm hashing away at 325 flawlessly. Impressive changes from batch 2. Say what you will about shipping but when it comes to engineering, Avalon is definitely NOT sitting on their asses Thank you team Avalon!! (4 module, no psu)

Call DHL and ask for the manager (of the manager of ...) and explain that the destination address doesn't exist in Swaziland but does exist in Switzerland. Be persistent till you get someone on the line with some sense. (At least that is what I would do).

Has anyone tried overclocking at the 375 (Absurd) setting? I am stable for 8 hours at 350 with an OCZ zx1250, --avalon-auto and --avalon-fan 100, and a box fan aimed at mine, but I am scared to try 375.

350 Mhz = 930 Watts at the wall for 4 module Avalon. your only issue should be temperature, your PSU will handle 375 mhz easily

350 Mhz = 930 Watts at the wall for 4 module Avalon. your only issue should be temperature, your PSU will handle 375 mhz easily I tried it and the errors went up and the hashing went down slightly. I keep it on auto and it is usually 351-354 I plan on adding one module to my 3 module unit. at 351-354 on auto; how many GH/S do you get with a 3 module unit? What about a 4 module unit? I have a 850w modular and a 750w modular PS. Should I get a bigger PS for a 4 module setup? What ever happened to that guy who ****magicmike who was pushing 98Gh/s??

Definitely you need a UPS no less than 1kW to keep a 4 module avalon miner running stable.
