Time will tell whats going to happen. I personally believe BCH is better coin but it will be hard to knock BTC off his throne. Tech wise BCH is better but the common folks dont know that...all they know it BTC. So thats what they are investing in.

Care to elaborate to which tech you're referring to? The arbitrary 8MB block limit?

I think it is much better to have both BTC and BCC instead of arguing which is better.

haters will always hate, they've been left out of the party, they don't hold BCH

I don't care to elaborate, but I'll leave it to you to see for yourself what I'm talking about, searching this thread. I'm busy trading BCH, you see...

The chain with most transactions is better. It's not up for debate, it is reality. You can throw as much mining power on a chain as you wish, but if very few people even use it to send transaction it is a failure.

its very short time after fork happened ,BCH will take its place,1st problem were with low mining power and slow transactions, first few month, now its fine,i dont use BTC to transfer money anymore,i use ETH,LITE,DASH, much faster less fee,now will try BCH,also will take a look what BTG will show for us. Dnt call BCH shit coin,BTC is bad atm, only speculations, and price jumps,no stability, can be used only to speculate and get money

The wide spread adoption, nobody has even heard of BCH, yet even my 90 year old grandma knows about Bitcoin.
There are far better alt coins than bitcoin (tech wise) which have great future prospects, but very few people use them, BCH is just a fork with an arbitrary block limit, it's nothing better than bitcoin tech wise and very few people actually use it.

Well if you were a good trader you would have earned money on pumps as well.
If BCH starts filling 1MB blocks constantly I'd dump all my BTC and go all BCH, but it seems that will never happen at this time, things may change but from what I see now the only support BCH gets is from Chinese miners.

I did earned , give it time,im not telling that BCH is better, its better from technical side now,but i also wanna see how will it handle a lot of transactions per block.

Only thing a want to tell that is no reason to call BCH shitcoin.

Ultimately both "segshit" and bcash will soon be technical dinosaurs if they're not already.

The only thing that's left is trust which outweighs any technicalities by a factor of around a million.

Whichever maintains the most trust wins. Not one public figure involved with bch inspires any trust whatsoever.

Same goes for many "segshitters" but at least there are more real people to outweigh the pricks.

That's where we disagree, I don't find a mere block size limit change a technical advantage, it only postpones the scaling problem to a point it would take many terabytes of disk space to run a full node, scaling is the elephant in the room for all crypto and it needs a future-proof and elegant solution, not a trade off or a quick hack.

How come blocks are never even 100kb in size but the limit is astonishing 8Mbs? What was the point of forking?

The point was

1. To Block Segshit from being in the block chain
2. Increasing the Transactions Capacity so the fees are lower and transactions complete faster

Segshitcoin is currently 100 thousand unconfirmed transactions, with people complaining that they paid $14 to send $187 , and the transactions still have not arrived.
Only the stupid waste money & time like that.

╥Aztek
But that's rather pointless since nobody is even using BCH to come anywhere near the 8MB block size, It's like installing wind splitters and wings on a pinto. It may look "cool" to some, but it's stupid and it is not doing anything functional. Even with 200kb block size limit, BCH would have cheaper fees, since nobody cares about this shitcoin expect for chinese miners who dump BTC to buy this crap.
Even if BCH does get wide spread adoption, and 8MB blocks get filled to the last byte, full nodes would have to store (by my rough estimate) more than 100TB data.

BCH is made to handle the ENTIRE world's money transactions. Do you expect a node to run on an Intel 486?

No but I expect a "Home Server" to be affordable for the average user my current node is running on a old AMD Phenom with 4GB of ram under the latest version of ubuntu server LTS and this handles the current system no problem both BTC and BCH and shortly BTG come tomorrow

I wonder if we will hit $1200 today?

Easily. And give it few weeks and than bch will hit 5000USD. Btc might fall under 100USD. We will see the flipping in the next time. Great time for all BCH believers.
I am happy that I sold all of my Segshit BTC.
