When will bitcoin cash be listed on bitstamp?
I bought  2 bitcoin cash to invest ,when bitcoin cash listed on bitstamp  , the price will not cheaper than now

When bcash will be listed on bitstamp ?

Christ people, it's on their twitter page https://twitter.com/Bitstamp

Tuesday 11AM UTC

Anyone who thinks BCH won't pump is retarded. Bitstamp is a huge exchange for the West and it moves a lot of fiat in/out.

I'll just drop this here:
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-12-04/battle-for-true-bitcoin-is-just-getting-started-quicktake-q-a

On-chain is backed mainly by miners, whose influence and profit could be at risk if transactions were processed outside the main blockchain. Off-chain supporters include companies like Blockstream, Lightning Labs and ACINQ, which plan to sell sidechain solutions or Lightning Network technology.

I think it's a fair assessment of the fork war.

Footnote: $8 MILLION PAID IN BTC FEES IN ONE DAY last week.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

The security costs for on and off chain is a zero sum game - very clear to get.

Follows that if you want a secure bitcoin you have to maximze on chain, known to be the most secure thing for about 9 years now.

Precisely. Wall Street, Blockstream, and the Centralized Bankers can have the sidechains that nobody uses.

If people really do want sidechains they can just use altcoins - that's effectively what alts have been used for 2+ years.

Nice to see it laid out plainly and simply.

Wish there was a big pump again like 2 weeks ago, and I hope the price soon reaches at least 50% of bitcoin.

The level of greed and lack of common sense really is mind blowing on these forums. A month ago BCH was down and out not a soul wanted it at $300 now people expect it to be 5K. The smart ones took there profits at 2K+ and moved on leaving BCH on there watch list while making profits elsewhere.

yea it was $300, while segwit 2x was on....once that was cancelled, BCH became the only real alternative for miners that dont like seg1.

yea smart ones took profit, but smart ones also rebought cheaper.  Wink

Bitfinex defines Bitcoin Cash as the coin that fulfills the original promise of p2p cash, a bitcoin upgrade that is ready to scale and sound money! #Winning (i.redd.it)

Decentralization is king - not individuals -
If you like decentralization than you shouldn't support either of the 2 Bitcoin versions.

Hu ? What is better AND even safe ?

And how do you define 'decentralized' ?   <- This is bit a crux ...
I would say that everything wich is censor-resistant, permissionless and public is dezentralized. One should consider BCH as a companion of BTC rather than rival. They should complement each other. While BTC is centred on dezentralization BCH focuses on the speed and cost of transactions. Both will gain from such relations

Hello guys. I have one question.

What ar the fees for transferring $100 worth BCH for example and what is the time needed to process/confirm the transaction.

Thanks

You can send a commission of 0.00000001bch and your merchant could accept the payment with 0 confirmations with total security. In the worst case it will take 10min to confirm  Cool

Well, if that is true I wonder how much time it will take untill people realize that this is far beneficial than using bitcoin. Buuuuut, what will happen in the future, will the fees still be so low if there are many transactions ? Or it will happen just like with BTC, mining will be harder and thus more expensive and the fees will go higher and higher ....

BTC is going to be more and more popular in the world, not only Crypto world. Price is climbing and probably will hit 25000$ to the end of the year like some predictions were. BTC is the best and no one coin can replace it.

Only a noob would say something like that. BTC is by far the best coin. In fact, many altcoins are much better. But BTC was the first, so anyone in crypto should be grateful to BTC. But at the moment it is definitely not the best coin out there. $25.000 at the end of the year ? I don't know, man. It could be. But it could also be $3000-$4000. It depends who wins: those going long or the shorters.

I think bitcoin cash will win bitcoin in term of time. I am holding a small sum of bitcoin cash in cash it will go as high as bitcoin right now.
With the faster transaction and cheaper fees.

Even though I haven't lost money in USD I've lost a lot of opportunity cost over the past couple weeks by switching most of my portfolio to BCH.

Hoping we have some good things in store over the next few weeks!

That made me realize one thing: I will NEVER EVER trust ANY exchange longer than my trade. I will in... and out... fast as hell. They are not trust worthy, I don't trust none of them. There is no FDIC/ECB bank insurance on these accounts and even a simple support ticket takes 2-3-4-5-6 sometimes weeks to answer.

Some bad shit happens and you will sit there with nothing.

Like some people in Bitfinex the other day, they got all wiped out. Some guy I think had $100K in his account and after the flash crash, he had minus -$30K. Scary stuff.

You withdraw to what wallet for bch ?
i little afraid of Electrum as i see few people had bad issues about it
