The model used by KICK is extremely bad.
First investors got big discounts they bought like at around 2-3 cents if not less.
Remember ETH was trading around 240-260.

Ico contributors got some tiny discounts.
ETH was trading round 330-360.

The first big investors got the tokens released on the 5th.

The small token holders on the 18th.

What happened:

Big investors already did have their sell orders ready on etherdelta, and dumped to new buyers who were FOMO-ing.

That caused the price to drop to 50% even less.

It has never recovered since, and I don’t see it recover any soon.

The whole model is that KICKICO is getting paid in real money (ETH) and issues worthless tokens, which you cannot use.

In addition, there will be more and more tokens in circulation every months thanks to the bonus emission scheme. That will not help the price to surge.

The only thing that will help the price rise is if the tokens are used as an utility token to participate on the platform.

This means future ICO have to buy a number of tokens to list on the platform.

You can participate in the ico with your KICK, but remember that your contribution will be converted to ERH at market price.

So you bought 10 ETH worth 30000KICK, now these are only worth 4ETH.

You do your own due diligence.

I see future always positively and if this was only project suffering from devaluation of its tokens then I was also showing some concern but situation is all my tokens from different projects have lost value now. Do you want to create more FUD? I have see KickICO devs supported many ICO projects as their roadmap, example, recently, they supported Micromoney, HACKEN, GameFlip ... ICO projects and these projects raised a lot of money. I think someone takes advantage the Bitcoin price and the altcoin market to dump the price of this token.

I agree that there have been numerous successful campaigns on the Kickico platform, however with the avg campaign raising over 2000ETH, and 4% platform fees that is about 80 ETH, Kick is going to sell more Kickcoins to the campaign creators @ 0.0005 ETH as well as give back to the pledgers, which will add to more Kick coins in the market and since it is a bonus, one would not think twice before eb=ncashing it causing the price to dump. Just hypothetically, if the devs were to ask the campaign creators to pay the fee by buying the equivalent of 80 ETH of Kickcoin from the market exchanges and pay to the platform, it will bring the prices up as it will create demand. With the current form, it is more supply than demand which is affecting the price as there are more emmissions than demissions.

another alternative is to assign a higher vlue to kickcoin should one choose to invest in a campaign using Kickcoin. this will help create more demand and provoke more Kick holders to use Kick coins to fund campaign in the Kick Ecosystem.
