I have simple question about KickIco regarding hosting crypto ICOs on platform. I understand KickIco will make it easy for anyone without programming skills to have an ICO, however why would a solid project that can collect 50K ETH or millions worth USD in ICO use your platform? I mean if they will have to pay 4% + 4% of their new currency, we are talking about huge amounts here. No team will be interested in this since if they are launching their own coin, i am sure they have their own programmers and rather not pay 4+4% to you.

Let suppose some project gets 50,000ETH in ICO. They will have to pay 2000ETH to KickIco, which is currently worth about 600,000USD. Actually Kickico will get Double that ammount if i also include 4% of creators new currency. How does that work? What is the incentive for creators here?

Also id like ask how will the platform accept USD, EUR, etc. fiat money payments from people who don`t and don`t want to deal with Crypocurrencies? How are payment processors fees (credit cards etc.) calculated in this?

Clearly KickICO doesn't cater to large ICOs. As you point out, it makes more sense for a smaller projects.

Yea you are right. BUT every project team hopes (even if unrealistic) to get large amounts of coins from investors, and doesnt matter if they are wrong, they will still plan this way you know and avoid Kickico. I believe to get creators on platform, kickico will have to incentivise them with more aggressive approach. I am only talking about ICO-coin related projects of course.

Uhh starting to get unsettled by this ICO, sent my payment during first few minutes of ICO and after they had issues with the smart contract I'm now stuck with tokens from the old contract.

One support person told me the old tokens were perfectly fine (lol) and that I hadn't updated my Custom token to the new address which is why I couldn't see them (even though there is no token transfer from the new smart contract). Asked a different person on support they said they'd distribute new tokens at end of the week but looking at the public crowdsale address for the new contract I can see they're giving out tokens as we speak.

Really poor comms not seen anything published about what people in my position are to do. I'd recommend to anyone else thinking about it to do some research.

Just updated to add none of their telegram groups are working either. Luckily I only invested 0.4 Eth into this scam. Feel sorry for anyone that got hit hard by this.

Please, do a research and if you followed the news - we have redeployed the smart contract for token and crowdsale.
New tokens will be sent to everyone's address who have previous versions from PreICO and the first hours of ICO - in 2-3 days after ICO is over

Yea you are right. BUT every project team hopes (even if unrealistic) to get large amounts of coins from investors, and doesnt matter if they are wrong, they will still plan this way you know and avoid Kickico. This is quite awesome performance with more than 61000 Ethereum investment in the project. The growing interest of investors tells that it is fully possible to see the hardcap being achieved couple of days before reaching the last date. About 39000 Ethereum more in remaining days seems easy now.

There is now a hidden cap which is lower than hardcap. I wonder how close we are to the hidden cap in fact.

ok thank you for the info. i was thinking that because on blockchain info the ico address says there is only one transaction (mine) and that was one of the only two possible outcame:

1) personal btc address for funding
2) i was frauded

by the way, i can see that payment is received (7 confirmations) but on my personal page on kickico site is not yet registred, hope everything is going fine :-)

If you paid with BTC you have to add your ETH address in your KickICO account . If you have your eth then you will receive your tokens after 2-3 days because they will handel BTC payment manually and it will take time . But your tokens are 100% safe  

so is this mean that it is not automaticaaly being processed? it's ok to wait for a couple of days as long as the tokens been purchased are safe.

Yes, all the tokens are safe and KC will be processed to all BTC contributors in 2-3 days after the ICO end

i can't see my tokens in mew so there are two possible outcames: the first is that we have to wait till ico ending before see tokens in balance (and i remember having read it somewhere on kickico ico page or someone form the support chat), the second is that i fucked up something :-) . remember, that apply for btc funding, if you spent eth you have already correct balance on your wallet if configured properly with token name, contract address and decimals
