Just found another project KickCity, reward-based community on blockchain (ERC20). In their article on Medium I read they also want to use KICK token name... (check their Pre-sale details: https://medium.com/@kickcity_io/weekly-update-24-09-17-7851d4c55f5e). Have they contacted you? And it's not a problem, right? Token is already registered and in use. I guess they'll be quite disappointed - KC is busy now and KICK either... That IS odd. I wonder why they decided upon using "KICK" as their token name? How could they not know that "KICK" was already being used by KickICO's tokens? Plus I think both KickCity and KickICO tokens are both Bancor protocol? Seems weird. I think you have it the other way around. KickCity came out prior to KickICO, both based in Russia with the former catering to the offering of tickets via crypto. City is simply now accepting KCs for payment. Isn't there a good chance that there is quite some weird stuff going on behind the scenes between those two projects? Possibly, but I'm not in detective mode, wishing to only use the KickICO platform to launch YuTü.Co.in's ICO. Bruno Would be bad if it was the case, but I assume we would never be able to prove it anyway. Let's just hope for a good ROI.

I agree this token name confusion is not a plus and may linger for a long time. Just look at the people accidentally buying ETC.
Does anyone know the length limit for token names?

I have also invested in this ICO a few bucks, but after all this mess, I have to say that I will sell all my tokens as soon as possible.
An ICO platform which is not able to give a right name for its own token (KC or KICK?)
Think about it
"all this mess", but not specifying what mess you're talking about.. If you are unable to do some research on the reasons why and your assumption is all it takes for you to dump your tokens, somebody on the other side will be happy to buy them. But don't come back later, promise? Because nobody likes hypocrits. Go read https://medium.com/@kickicoAnd especially: https://medium.com/@kickico/news-news-news-ae109694de74 and https://medium.com/@kickico/voila-your-kickcoins-are-served-fcbab6d44ca5I double dare you: sell your tokens, do it. Or maybe just stop the FUD, thank you.

I have a feeling that this will fomo so hard, after the first week on exchange. Well maybe depends on the exchange. But hopefully on any of them.

PEPECASH has eight: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pepe-cash/8-character ticker symbols (TicSym) is going to be the maximum on YuTü.Co.in's exchange - YTC-Sox.

Kick will be issuing %1-%5 bonus at the end of every month for the first 2 years. Should I keep storing my coins at myetherwallet? Is that where I get my bonus? Do I get a bonus if I buy more coins on an exchange and then transfer them to myetherwallet?

Ya, like people buying NEOS coins instead of NEO Jeez, that would suck! I found this about name lengths: https://ethereum.stackexchange.com/questions/25619/is-there-length-limits-on-token-symbolsIt seems that it depends on the exchange. As Gleb Gamow said above about 8 character symbols being the max on YTC-Sox. Maybe there isn't a max number of characters, but perhaps for display and formatting purposes, individual exchanges choose the number of characters that best fits in their display format.

I can honestly say if your having concerns about buying the wrong tokens because of the name? Your probably in the wrong game I saw that happening before There were some tokens that sounded similar to another hot ICO. And when the ICO began and sold out within hours, those other similar sounding coins also increased in price

Bye-bye 666 NEO coins (ouch!) It's up to us to keep a sharp eye and due diligence! It's a jungle out there!

I am guilty of redeem myself when bought my first etc by confusing with eth on Chinese exchange with very no mobile configuration. Anyway, I seem to have two type of coins in mew... what happens with Kickcoins?
By the way. They would list bittrex or is planned for later as well?
