Is there a secure node available for anyone who wants to set up one providing we have 43 ZenCash coins? Or, is there a big waiting period and the line of people wanting to get a secure node is long? Thank you, G.P. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Demand is high so i doubt that there is an node for sale, but yes there are few people who doing this. you need solid CPU and some amount of RAM which the Raspb does not have. No need to torment your little raspi ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) How about Odroid XU4 or similar with over 4GB RAM?

I've never used the Odroid, but it looks like it uses an ARM processor as well. I had to find a few work arounds on the pi to get the software to compile on the ARM processor. In the end I think it is more cost effective to use an old pc or a vps. It is definitely less headaches to get and keep it running.

Depends on how fast your internet connection is and how many good peers you get, it's around 2 h, you can always stop it and continue it at a later time.

Would a secure node be safe to run on the same VPS I run my ATM server on? I can increase the memory and ram without disrupting any service. I'd rather have one VPS running multiple services than have a bunch to manage. VPS is Ubuntu 16.4.
Nothing is installed by root user, I created an account with root access that uses sudo commands.

Hi guys, I have enough zencash to run 32 zencash nodes, but they are just sitting on the exchange doing nothing... How much am I missing out monthly ? I have read that I need to set up a server for each node. Is that true ? If yes that is way too much work... What's the solution to easily set up 31 nodes and get the rewards from them ?
Thank you

Payments did not started yet, so you didn't lose anything yet. If this is too complicated for you then you can hire somebody to do this for you.

So long as you run each app in its own non root account u should be fine.

I would personally just do everything over Ssh. And use a minimal os iso, less of an attack surface. For setting up a sec node you don't need any gui on the node itself. Have a look at sshfs . It allows you to mount a remote server as a drive on your local computer So you can copy and move files around locally
