i hope i would be able to put up my masternode...eventually... i hate the fuckers who play with the difficulty of the network.. devs... put the diff to adjust on a average of 100 or 500 blocks because those fucks only come to take a lot of blocks with a shitload of hashpower and disappear hashing again their desired coin, leaving us to mine at insane difficulties.
It is hard to combat thoose greedy people with alot of cash to buy alot of gear.. They are ruining it for the common miner, but short term profit for them is all that matters.. The common miner is what makes the nettwork strong, but guessing they just dump it to BTC so no care given.

this coin is such a great coin... do not let the hashing speculators to fuck us up. i have a mining pool and i see from statistics their effect on the network.it is imposible for the diff to double in just a few hours. the only solution to this is to make the difficulty adjustment averaging out at a lot more blocks. i suggest around 300-500 blocks. then their influence will drop dead..

ZENCASH - The Most Secure Platform for Money, Messages, and Media
The platform is secured by a network of aptly named Secure Nodes (7027 of which are in operation at the time of writing) which communicate through end-to-end encrypted channels making the network extremely privacy-respecting and resilient.
The ZenCash network is actually the largest privacy network in operation in the whole cryptosphere. https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@deanliu/zencash-the-most-secure-platform-for-money-messages-and-media

This appears to be the known problem of a broken/corrupt block-chain. In most cases it can be fixed safely. Some manual repairs will be necessary. The ZEN private keys are located in the wallet.dat file in directory: Windows: %APPDATA%/Zen/ Mac OS: ~/Library/Application Support/Zen/ To make sure your ZEN is not lost, the most important thing is to keep a backup copy of your wallet.dat file - it must never be lost! It may be copied manually when the GUI wallet/zend are not running. The wallet.dat needs to be backed up regularly (not just once - say after every 30-40 outgoing transactions) and it MUST also be backed up after creating a new Z address. Once you make sure you have a wallet backup in a safe place, this problem is most commonly solved by re-indexing the block-chain. For details of how to reindex, see the troubleshooting guide: https://github.com/ZencashOfficial/zencash-swing-wallet-ui/blob/master/docs/TroubleshootingGuide.md https://github.com/ZencashOfficial/zencash-swing-wallet-ui/issues/64

What Is Zencash?
Throughout 2018, the Zencash team will deliver a wide range of features and services to its users. An iOS wallet and OpenBazaar integration are two of the top priorities right now. Improvements to the Secure Node system will be introduced as well. Domain Fronting will be implemented at some point, although additional research is still needed at this stage. In 2019, we will see a proper scalability solution, as well as more progress on the DAO front.

ok..i will try to do that to see if it is working There's a known wallet bug we're working on, thus far an annoyance requiring -reindex per that troubleshooting guide; still, we want to solve ASAP so we have the team spun up investigating. We think we've isolated the issue and should have resolved soon. KEY POINT: Your ZEN is absolutely safe, this isn't a blockchain issue and it doesn't involve losing any funds...best practice is always to backup your wallat.dat file / private keys. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Sorry for the inconvenience! the funds being safe is the most important feature...but please make something with the speed of reindex the blockchain. maybe some temporary saved snapshots of the blockchain for us to use when a blockchain issue is up. i think i have waited almost 1 day for the wallet to sync

Any news about the project of making the process of node-setting more easy to achieve for everybody - and not just for computer freaks and nerds?
I am in the same boat as you. Had enough Zen to make a couple of nodes but too scary of trying the guides that i think are to complicated....
