I am not being negative, i am simply stating facts. We have had nothing but NEGATIVE news over the last week. Just google "Bitcoin News" and you will see what i mean. How do you expect Bitcoin (as a brand) to have any creditibilty left with all this FUD flying around. I think the OP was referring to Bitmixer closing down, BTC-e owners arrested and possible the trading platform will itself close. AlphaBay being shutdown by the government. And the feared Aug 1 date is just 5 days from now.

True. It is still publicity for bitcoin. We all know that bitcoin is purely driven by speculation so any negative news will really have a impact to the price. But currently the price is still strong at $2500 so the news that the OP has been mentioning has no bearing at all. Because if it did then the price should be red and down. If you think that what's happening the last few weeks is bad news, then you have not been around for too long. The price surged too fast too soon in the first few months of 2017 so it is but natural for some to take profits which would naturally bring the price down. AlphaBay closure should not be classified as bad news. We should encourage actions like this, because it is more damaging to us that sites like this is using Bitcoin for illegal activities. The voluntary closure of Bitmixer.io is sad, because I think it did more good than bad.

I really dont see the bad news that you are talking about, Bitcoins is currently soaring after a minor setback and the Bitcoin Cash seems to be fluttering, i don't think its gong to be that successful and thus there will just be one bitcoin currency in the system. Yeah we should be optimistic. These bad news may had badly affect the market price of bitcoin causing a sudden dump but bitcoin had recovered. We should consider the dump as an opportunity to buy bitcoin and other crypto currencies so that we could invest. The split created a fear among the users but then everything became alright. I think there is no more need to be afraid of. Just a few hours left I hope everything will be fine. Many of the people converted their bitcoin to alts at the time when price got low but now most of them have bought back the bitcoin. I am lucky I don't convert my coins.

I don't think there has been any bad news. We've seen a dip in the valuation of coins, as a result of people selling off and being worried about a Chinese announcement. A move that'll actually stabilise and increase confidence in cryptos in the long run. It is about the news and not the bubble like you are pointing on prices. I agree to your statement that it will come and go because that is what is happening in bad news, they come and go because they are one of the helper to make changes in the market and because of that we can easily make profits because we can buy if there is a bad news and sell when there is a good news.

it is true that there is no certainty that this cryptocurrency world will never end but as long as it is alive and is still working do what you have or what can you do, there is no room for uncertainties use all the opportunities to learn while at the same time earn. don't think that this too shall end we never but it is now on peak so lets take this as an advantage.

I feel today I have heard many comments about the death and the end and many other bullshit topics. Yes it is a very bad news that bitcoin still not even fully accepted and prevail in my country and I am waiting for it to be accepted and regularized, then I would be able to use my bitcoin, you people are talking about the death and end of the bitcoin. I am sure that there will be no death and no end of bitcoin till the end of human from the earth.

I think bad news had passed for now though I do not think that this FUD, bad news and negative rumors will end.  It will be lurking around Bitcoin market and will surface once it finds the chance.  Just like the upcoming implementation of Segwit, they will FUD about FORK for sure.  But well I hope people have learned that this kind of FUD shouldn't be taken seriously.
