Where can I find sources for the current wallet?
The one I have compiled long time ago is 0.8.6.2. This version sends me alerts.
I know there were many updates since, but only specific binary versions are available?

This is the Link https://github.com/WorldcoinGlobal/WorldcoinLegacyProbably it would be better to wait a few weeks for completely new wallet, the differences are huge (check forum for details) Also if you chose to compile be aware that you have to download the installer (WorldcoinBC) from the web page, install and then overwrite the installe worldcoin-qt with your compiled version , the reason for this is that installer checks for app hash for security reasons so it would overwrite your compiled version with the one it finds in the database. This mechanism is used to assure most people is using the correct binary and also for auto update feature. Also installer generates a file called WorldcoinBC.cfg which is important. Please PM in our forum for more information If you don't want to use installer, edit worldcoin.cpp file and comment lines 144 and 145. |

where i can get WORKING wallet?
wallet from main page installs and syncs but coins never arrive to it (they do to online wallets so its not the pool)

The original post of this thread seems vaguely to hint that it might be possible to mine this coin, but since no algorithm/miner is specified how is anyone able to actually mine it?
What do you do, try every mining software and hardware out there in each configuration/algo until you get lucky and happen upon one that seems to work?
Why is the mining method/algo such a secret???

When WDC came out there were only 2 common algos SHA256D & Scrypt, so maybe thats why it wasn't mentioned as all new alts used scrypt. |

ok to looks like problem is with wallet. When I start it after installing there is sync progress bar, problem is progress bar will say its synced but its not. 2 days of syncing and im stuck on may now and its STUCK on block 1905342. two days!!! is there anything i can do to unstuck it?? Tried to delete everything and leave wallet.dat AS IT WORKS WITH OTHER WALLETS and guess what WALLET CORRUPT CANT SALVAGE WHAT A PIECE OF .......!£&$("£&$("£&$( |

Try not to rely too much on bitcointalk information although the info is there, as another user said http://worldcoin.global/mining/. You'll be pleased to know the link to the pools has also had new pools added, e-pool and coinmine. There is also our FAQ page http://worldcoin.global/faqs/ which is extremely helpful and even better our getting started page http://worldcoin.global/worldcoin-quick-start/. Just a warning that the faucet isn't running currently, it's been a pain and keeps going offline so our developer Josh has been notified and is looking for a fix right now. Sorry for the inconvenience! |
