That's really helpful; after previous fuck ups (schrambeck) WDC (understandably) lost a lot of projects and supporters, we are still collecting the remaining pieces and starting again. |

...another page that's gone toes up is http://worldcoin.global/blog/guide-to-creating-a-usb-stick-worldcoin-wallet/ (and wasn't ever caught by Archive.Org ...) Basically what it said in a very convoluted way was to combine both directories of data into one dir on a USB and add a bat file worldcoin.bat worldcoin-qt.exe -datadir=%~dp0 Then only launch via the bat file *** other wise a fresh wallet / data will be left behind on the host computer. One of the many reasons there should always be a zip version of a coin's wallet - Not just an EXE for the masses... ========== *** (Robin - to the Bat File!") |

We need to remove this one, because in new wallets the installer has the option to chose where you want to store the block chain and wallet.dat, it also lets you download a compressed chain (checking hashes) to speed up initial sync. Bottom line, we still need to do a lot of clean up  |

The guide was deleted because there is a new one that explains the steps with the installer. http://worldcoin.global/faqs/ videos will be redone when the new wallet is out of Beta. |

Hello guys, we checked the web page and no more broken links. Bear in mind that not all previous services are up because they belonged to third parties. From now on every service that officially falls under Wolrdcoin umbrella will be a subdomain of worldcoin.global. For example forum.worldcoin.global

Hello, I have downloaded the latest WDC wallet, but there are so many configuration options for the wallet I guess I did something wrong and I'm not
no connection.
Is there any easy way to install the wallet-qt?

Hello, did you downloaded version 1.1.0 (Chunky Monkey) or new 2.0.0 Beta 3 ?
If it's the former then you need to do this:
- Enter the directory where WorldcoinBC is installed, rename the file called WorldcoinBC.cfg to WorldcoinBC.cfg1 or something else.
- Execute file called WorldcoinBC.exe (The installer)
- Choose 'Basic' option and leave the defaults
IF you continue having problems please send me the configuration file: WorldcoinBC.cfg so i can check what parameter is causing trouble.
Please don't hesitate to contact us if you continue having trouble

If it's the former then you need to do this:
