Good job Berzeck.
Of course you need to still make a lot of changes with a wallet that would the Worldcoin regained its former glory  Cool
But the most important thing is to eliminate the incompatibility between the 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows that would allow users to have a common wallet for any version of Windows
without having to install any patches and updates (excluding Service Pack 1)

any news from polo?

Not really. The only channel of communication that answered back was support system, they said that they are sorry and blah blah blah, but they do not have any idea on why the decision was taken.
In other words the people who took the decision probably don't know that WDC has an active team, but there is no way to reach them directly.
Sooner or later they will know though.

Meanwhile we have to move on

It is a really shame that Poloniex will delist WDC.They are now the biggest altcoin exchange so maybe they dont need coins with few BTCs average daily volume any more.

It is what it is - is there any chances to list WDC on Bittrex?

A shame indeed, we will try after new release and some feedback Wink Sooner or later as we make more progress exchanges will notice and add us again. We have to move on and continue advancing Smiley

Hello Frangomel!
Some considerations:

1) You don't need to import priv key, just copy wallet.dat to your block chain dir, that's it (always have a backup)
2) Address reuse is discouraged by any bitcoin derived wallet. Check this link https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Address_reuse
If you are not worried about privacy issues, check the security paragraph
3)The best way is to create a new wallet and send your coins from previous address (using step 1)
4) If you really need to mess directly with keys: importprivkey <worldcoinprivkey>
Nothing else (rescan is set to true automatically)
It may take a while to rescan. (There is no visual indicator because the JSON-RPC API does not support  feedback for rescanning) Just leave it running.

Hello,
I have couple of questions.

Do we have build instruction for the new wallet?
Is it still backward compatible with 0.8 release?
Can I use old 0.8 wallet to withdraw coins from Poloniex?

Hi Berzeck,

unfortunately I had old android wallet and have WDC there...I have privkey backup from that wallet so need to import it in new windows wallet to have my WDC's.

When I type importprivkey <worldcoinprivkey>, got this message

--Incorrect number of params! Type 'help importprivkey' for more information. Connector: 'WDC'. Command 'importprivkey'--

I import command in .cfg as

importprivkey="String"

hope to help...

greets
