@BerzeckHuge WDC fan from the beginning Curious if you could provide a vision for 2017? What plans are there for tech releases as well as market integration? Thanks, john Hello! We will release this month another version with more coins supported (delayed as always ) * Next year we should have 4 release 2 big ones and the other 2 will be about polishing. * In the first big release we will integrate a decentralized chat system that will be used not only for chatting and integrating the few people left in our community but for other important things like official support (this is very important item because it will be needed for 2nd big release) * After this one there will be an intermediate release which will be about polishing and adding small features *** 2nd Big release with SURPRISE feature After 2nd big release a polishing iteration will be made. And we will finally be ready to start marketing WDC

No more issues right now. The balance showed up nicely and its running without problems. Only the regular sync is extremely slow. Shall see if the long term investment in WDC pays up in future Hopefully so. I am willing to wait as many years as it takes Holding coin or tokens for long term should be rewarding especially when the coin has a good team behind it. It's worth to hold and i wish you the best!

Hello, I completely understand the feeling (current team were WDC investors in the early days after all), the problem is that many coins offer (explicitly or implicitly ) a development model that 'assure' rapid price growth path, of course they all fail sooner or later; most people want to follow BTC steps and became a millionaire after night (wouldn't this be great?) which reinforces this vicious circle. We have another way of doing things, we are first building the pieces, no pumping, no marketing no nothing until we are satisfied with a differentiated product and then slowly start promoting our progress while we continue build more and more pieces that will complete our vision. My point is that our plan is intrinsically long term, we do not use(abuse?) the word just developing random features and hoping that sooner or later someone will start buying huge amounts of WDC by pure chance.

Yes thank you. I can see this information. It is a pity if they will remove WDC with trades. But I hope that this is a temporary solution..

Current problem for WDC is that almost all the coins that are now mined Asic miners immediately sold for btc. If you look at the capitalization: We see that it continues to gradually decline along with the price. The only reasonable way out of this situation, is the introduction of POS system that would provide income for the owners of large WDC and keep their coins in their wallets in exchange for a fair reward. I know that many people still are not supporters of POS & POW hybrid system, but the current market shows that for altcoins this system more viable than pure POW. Here's a simple example - if you're the owner of a terminal, or receiving services for POS payment coins that you earn income from running on your PC wallet. You support the network, creating a stable node and your costs of maintaining the system, partially offset by the POS revenue. If we talk about the future for the WDC, this hybrid POS & POW system will change the attitude of investors to WDC and help to stabilize the market.

Interestingly, people still believe that with network WDC is all right and people can not worry about naked scrypt POW network?

There is something wrong with the network. Although the hashrate is way too low, the diff is high.
I remember hashrate was around 5000mh/s and diff was 45 now hashrate is 100mh/s and diff still 45

Yes, If you look at the statistics today, you will see the following The problem is that the low price of the WDC and absence the protective system (except nodes config) for scrypt POW network pose the threat of a fork. I just want to say that it's time to think about the changes related not only for wallet WDC but also and changes for network. There are live examples of successful systems that are popular and quite stable, for example Dash (x11 algo). But I still think that the best solution for network protect be a hybrid system with POW + POS with the ability to make anonymous transactions. We can of course continue to pretend that the network problems are temporary, but I am sure that if nothing is done, the situation will only worsen..
