Hey Worldcoiners,
I want to add your coin to my profitablity overview/mining calculatorbut I encountered a problem with the block reward. The formula for that is: currentReward = baseReward x 0.99 ^ N
On your site and the main page you stat that every 20,160 blocks the reward lowers by 1%. Seeing as you have reached block 1018601, divided by 20160 would be N = 50 reductions so far. So that would become: currentReward = 64 x 0.99 ^50 And that results in 38.72. However that seems incorrect when I compare it to every other calculator/info site provided on the interwebz where it shows 52ish current block reward. Are you missing some offset in your opening post from which the reward decrease starts, or is there something wrong with my calculations?
Thanks for the help. Greets, Tweek

Honestly I am not sure where the discrepancy lies. You would have better luck getting this question answered over at worldcoinforum.org that is where the majority of us Worldcoiners spend our time. This thread is mainly just good for updates at this point.

Worldcoin has won the http://cryptokopen.eu poll. Thanks to all who voted! We be added soon although I am not sure of their exact timeline. Noble also received enough votes to make it. Congratulations!

I second this. How anyone realistically thinks this coin will succeed without anyone actually knowing about it is beyond me. I really hope that Scharmbeck and the Worldcoin Foundation have arranged a nice PR push to coincide with the Feb 20th launch, or else it'll be a damp squib at this rate -- I'm sure they have though.
My understanding is that the marketing will start once Scharmbeck is fully functional for the public. Waste of funds to promote services that aren't available. That's great. Thanks for the reply. Do you know if they're getting a PR company to do it, or is it being done in house? I'm looking forward to seeing some nice, juicy marketing for the coin, then!

It suprises me, that wdc is as low popular as it is right now, but seeing all whats happening with this coin, makes me very confident that it will succeed. Im holding a lot of wdc for future. Nice and stable coin is always a good investment in long term. It will go up for sure.

I'm not sure how much it may go down. I bought a bunch because I'd feel bad if it starts going up and I missed out on the chance to buy at 0003

why is scharmbeck collapsing?
There were some people who bought SBFS shares when in the beginning for 0,005 BTC. You could easily buy 100-1000 shares at that time. Now some of them lost nerves and decided to take profit. There were not many offers on "buy side", so the price started to go down. Many people panicked, so they sold too. I miss stronger campaign of Scharmbeck or Worldcoin foundation to promote shares selling. Maybe now it is time for "new beginning"... or this is end of worldcoin. We will see soon. If you have some extra satoshis, it is good time to risk it and buy some shares. I doubt it can go lower than this, but if it goes you do not loose much. On the other side, if they wake up, you can soon return your investment 5 bigger....
