One of the things i am wondering that what services will be intergrated? For example if i want to use some other search then google, some other communities then facebook and twitter... i've stored everthing i've played on audioscrobbler / last.fm for over 10 years and i am highly active in reddit... do they count?

Yes the demo show the future features and to understand the potential of datum, but its hard to understand how the sell of data will work yet. But datum can become a real big platform in the data market, and then earn a lot of money and make us earn a lot of money.

I read you guys were going to sell more coins for the same amount of eth and old investors were going to get coins distributed to them, just out of curiosity, when will this happen?

The price per click you get on your blog for adwords is not the price the advertiser pays. There is a middleman who is getting rich.
That does not mean Datum gets you the difference. Google still offers the infrastructure for ads. Your personal information is not a replacement for that.

Its going to be hard to make a statement against the trend of lower interest for icos in general. Therefore advertising is everything and I really hope that there is enough of it |

i dont understand why everybody is so greedy now. before datum data was for free - now it has a value - istn just that great??
For me the most important thing is THE CHOICE. The choice to do with my Data what I want, and not let some 3rd party decide how to use my data Indeed! Its very important to have the choice about your data! This will be the begin of a new generation. Really hope DATUM can get everything done! Cant wait to use DATUM. |

Just checked the Datum demo again. https://demo.datum.orgI was wondering how will you store the data? In Europe there are a lof of new regulations regarding privacy and I was wondering how Datum will comply with this. |

It is a good thinking.
You are giving something away for free. And now someone wants to pay for it. What can you want more?
I will definitely sell my data when datum goes online.
That's what I like the most about this. That you don't have to change anything in your online behaviour to be able to profit from Datum. |

I don't think so. I think a celebrities data will be worth much more than from an average people. Celebrities have a much more influence.
Celebrities have appeal and when presented with data about them, people will be interested and the desire to dig up more information about celebrities is always there. While the data owned by the layman, of course only a few people who are interested to know. But, even though our data will worth almost nothing, atleast with datum, we can get something, let alone the price. |

This ICO is so Hyped up and has had a very impressive pre ICO marketing campaign that feels like it has been going on for ages. I really hope they deliver after making us wait so long to even see how the ICO performs. two more days before the real waiting begins. SMH.

Yep, I asked the other day when the announcement was made that 1 eth will be 25000 DAT now. I got 15000 DAT for ETH and that was with part of the bonus already included... I also have a % amount of the bonus pending that was supposed to be added at the end of the ico, so I'd like to know how they're going to calculate this and when we can expect to receive the updated amounts. I've read on telegram they would honour our earlier contributions according to the new amounts but no other info was given. Hope we get some news on this soon! |

I think it very much depends what kind of data you are willing to sell. The more specific and tailored to companies' needs the more you can earn. For 100$ a year I wouldn't even bother selling my data, but I guess we are in a very early stage to speculate about that Didnt they say your data is worth up to 2000$ per year? That would be a great amount but 100$ really sound too much work for such a low yearly income. I'm sure that even $ 100 a year will not give. It's too expensive. Data is worth way more then 100$ a year. You underestimate how much Fb/google make on creating adds that you want to click on (based on your data) Exactly this is way these companies are so rich and profitable.
